I can never tell what changes happen when these updates occur. Would it be possible to have a before and after?

The Original expansion tag was added to this particular spell. All mage spells from before Kunark all the way up to Velious got their expansion tags added to the spell scrolls by me yesterday.

Decent enough

The proc might not hit for a lot and there aren't a whole lot of summoned monsters in the game, but in the North Ro adventures the monsters are mostly summoned. It may not do a lot of damage to them, but any damage is good damage.

Ward Summoned

Ward summoned does between 35-41 points of damage, dependant on the lvl of the caster.
I don't know, if it will increase with the lvl of the sword user.

Is it true that if you combine two if these in the Red Scabbard for the warrior epic that you get yer epic? Somone told me that a GM tole them to do that incase there epic was lost by a crash or something.

Old graphic shown here or something. It now shows Effect: Ward Summoned. I was given one in Lavastorm at level 14, but wasn't high enough level for it to go off ("Your will is insufficent.. blah blah blah"). Pity too, considering the zone.

What does it proc? I didn't think it had one, but I'm a level 27 mage and my GF plays a level 21 paladin... if this thing procs i'll run for 29 and surprise her with it for a loan.

It refers to process. With weapons that have magical effects, there's a random chance every time you attack that the weapon will process that effect against whatever you're attacking. People just say proc because for some reason they're too lazy to use the other three letters *shrug*.

Actually, I think most people type Proc because they don't know what it's short for. Just like they don't know what mob is short for. Now lazy is ne1.

Hehe i allways guessed that mob meant "Monster Or Beast" are iam compleatly wrong?

# Jan 01 2005 at 9:05 AM Rating: Decent
Close, but a touch off heh. The term 'mob' comes from good ol MUD coding(remember, EQ started out as a MUD). When building a mud, there are a few basic things you can create, such as areas, rooms, objects, and... mobiles(aka creatures/monsters/whatever). As you may have guessed, the term mob is old mud builder slang for mobile. Hope you enjoyed the history lesson :)

The programmer of a mud I used to play said Mob was Movable OBject. Not sure if he was right or mobile is right...

Realy don't have a comment on procs, I just wanted to see how narrow these reply boxes would get.
