Seems to be taking "breaks" in spawning at about 12-24 hours intervals. I got this information from a guide, and was confirmed by my 22 hour camp of the damn thing.

Additionally, as a 65 enchanter tash+slow was not landing. (either by me or the other chanter who tried after died). I was able to land with a mage to help on the debuff though. Mitigates if slow lands.
