If your at the level where you are fighting here then you are close to Uqua and -350 to int/wis hurts so every bit over the cap helps

I don't care about the MR. I just want more mana. Either way you are going to have 500MR or not. Bards can be your best friend.
But if you get the item for your class you do not have to worry about the effect in aqua.

There is no need for int/wisdom on this item, i have 452 intel already, at this stage of the game it does not matter

should look at these even closer at the high end game with all the MR buffs you most likely will get the 500 resist you want. so MR on 1 item isnt gonna really hurt you that much.......... not to mention they are single groupable and they drop alot.
i know this is on an old post but i still think it needs to be said. what if you get a lot of items with low/no magic resist? my shaman some how managed to get most of his gear without magic resists on them. i was not realy worried about resists until one day i looked at them and i saw my PR 186 MR 99 DR 228 FR 177 CR 142

i would rather have a +3-5 to all resists than 7-9 of 3 stats end up with a bunch of everything but magic resists

Guess you have never done Ikki. These are not one groupable. They drop off any named in the 4 raid trials. Yes they are very common though. These will probly be the first thing you have rot if you farm Ikki raids.
