Base increase for atk is 5 per level of Vengance.
All melee classes then get a 1.33 modifier applied to it.
Once upon a time it was (or was thought to be) different for monk / rogue / war / knight, however it isn't.

Just as a side note Vengeance works slightly different for Rogues. I believe instead of the standard 5 atk per 1 Vengeance it is closer to 6 or 7 atk for Rogues, that said some other melee classes may also gain this "increase" myself as a Beastlord I get only the standard 5 atk. All that aside this would be a nice item however V3 is available on most melee Ornate armour and sadly I wouldn't trade my FT earring for the V3. Maybe a V4 or 5 yes. Just my 2cp.
all classes have an 'attack modifier' which multiplies the effect of vengeance, other worn attack, and spell attack. Rangers and rogues recieve over 10atk per vengeance point, while a caster will get no more than 5.
Well currently its pretty far from 10 per Veng. My veng 3 items give me about 18 atk. Thats still better than 5 atk per veng, but 10 would certainly be nice.

Vengence = 5atk per level of the effect.
ie. Vengence 1 = +5atk VengenceII + +10atk.. so on and so forth.
so this earing is 15atk.
