i got this on the rathe about two months ago for 500pp . not a bad deal even if i paid too much the stats are almost as good as a cone of the mystics, but at the time i got this for 500 the cone could still bring 700-1k .
it could be a good item for a few different casters .a few people have posted it's usfulness to a chanter and i agree. but it could be a nice piece for any caster .with the exception clerics ,who kinda get paid to have as much wis as possible. it's not on my main ,but neither is the cone ;-) guess my point is ther nice for a cheap item .

I'm sorry, I must not be able to read. Where does he say "for enchanters with max cha"?
All I saw was, "for enchanters who have maxed and and want char, mana", which I can only interpret as "for enchanters who have maxed int and want char and mana".
Ive had one of these on Zebuxoruk for a while now, and i must say, i love it...
It is THE perfect example of an ENC item, It has STA to help with our HP problem, Wis for all you jewelers out there (helps sucess rate), INT for mana and raising non-combat skills, CHA for Charm/Mez, and lastly, Mana...well... we all know why we need mana.
Makes a nice combo w/ Crude Stien, 20cha and 15sta is just great... although, I hope there is something to replace this and crude stien with the release of SOL... preferably a good weapon, or another stone like P.Focus.
Indeed it is a nice Enchanter item. Still, I feel forced to debunk the myth of wisdom for successes in tradeskills. It is the higher of Wisdom OR Intelligence that determines your skill raises in any tradeskill. Your skill in that tradeskill determines success combined with the higher of the two again, not with wisdom as is often said. At least that is what I have gleaned from EQTRADERS.com, a definitive source for information I believe.

I think you will see a MARKED improvement. Agility is for fletching as dex is to jewelcraft and tailoring.
Sucess is only based upon your skill level. Skill ups are based on Int or WIS whichever is higher also some skills have secondary stats Like tailoring has dex and blacksmithing has str
Most chanters able to get this should be at the point of having 200int or more already, but we always want more of 2 things: CHA and Mana.
So this little cup lets you chop down some of the unused int (which is easy to make up elsewhere) and gain 5 CHA and also 25mana.
At the high levels it's all about juggling stats if you know what you're doing. Keeping Int at 200 while maxing out as much CHA and mana as possible...

Book of Obulus has a better wis/int combo. Any real int caster however is probably going to be using ORS and Phen Focus, Sorc Bowl or something. Maybe a good piece for warriors who want to work on a trade skill.
