A good spot to farm these is Barindu; the huge courtyard that you see when porting in. There are hundreds of mobs that are easy to round up and kill all at once for a high level. While it's lucky / anecdotal, I got two leaves in one big pull (about 50 mobs).
Got Taelosian Tea Leaves to drop from each of these while hunting a turepta cragwalker for there Succulent Turepta Meat. ----------------------------------------------------------------
Mobs: a mastruq eviscreator a ra'tuk screambringer
Had Taelosian Tea Leaves drop from each while farming, along with some of the already listed mobs. ``````````````````````````````````````````` Baltzar Soulflame > 85 Wizzy
I myself foraged one there tonight and my forage level is 85, my friends forage is at 181 and he foraged 2 in about an hour... they are foraged and they are there :)
I have foraged them from Natimbi a LOT. NEver seen one drop, but I forage them quite a bit. 4 in 2 hours there the other day. Late reply, I know, but in case someone looks!
I've spent more than 3 hours foraging in Natimbi getting mint, meat, twigs, shells, pollen, dark matter, water, twisted tubers...but NO tea leaves!! I have 195 in forage if this is SO difficult is it worth it? Or am I just doing something wrong?
foraging the tea leaves is rare. if you need them check merchants for ones that have been sold or just forage and wait. hopefully you will have better luck than me. in the mean time, make the pp selling the heavy meats to merchants.
i looked up the tea lef oil on eq traders, and it's used for god tailoring to make cragbeast WR bags. you need hynid blood, shimmering steel thread( bought in abysmal sea) and the oil to make a treated shimmering steel thread. this is used for the bags. hope this healps. also, i wanted to make some taelosian mtn tea. i've already finished the brew quest. i went today to the first gnome, lil wee corkpopper man...did the dialogue, and he sent me to the chick gnome, who game me squat, so i went back to him and gave him 2 taeloaisn teas, and got squat.. dunno what's up with this..sigh...
Taelosian Mountain Tea is the higher-end form of this. Just like Raw Shimmering Nihilte. Its much harder to get, and is only acquireable in the deeper GoD zones. There is no way to turn regular Taelosian Tea Leaves into the Mountain veriety.
There is two ways you can work with the Taelosian Tea Leaves (regular and Mtn):
1- Go to Yitimis Groglenog, hail them, and follow the dialog until you get a stack of some items. Brew them in a brew barrel, and turn any/all successes in. Say the phrase again, repeat until you have turned in 100 of the items (unstacked of course!). You will then have another combine, and so on for a total of 4 different combines. You will then be able to use the Tea Leaves by putting them alone in a brew barrel, which will yield Tea you can then sell or use in all the different recipes. You will get 1-3 Tea per leaves, depending on how many times you have done that combine. (As you do it more, you'll get more in return)
2- Go to Yitimis Groglenog (yes, same NPC) and just give them one of your Tea Leaves. You'll always recieve 2 Teas in return (thus, you will get more doing this wayt then at the start, but after a lot of combines the other way, the first way will be more efficient).
Can anyone tell me who gives the brewing quest please? I have hailed everyone I find in Abysmal sea, & not found the right one. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Some One below refers to a Female that you do this quest with. It would be nice if Someone could drop a name so the rest of us could find her. Thanks:)
Ok, Think I found here. Yitimis Groglenog. She is a Brewing supplier and her Loc is -134 +180, +114
did they alter the rarity of the foraging tables? i've solo'd MANY crustys in natimbi and never forraged one of these, but today i foraged up two of them. luck? or are they more common now?
ok I know this is a bit off topic, but there's no listing on Allakhazam's yet on Taelosian Stones, used to make serrated arrowheads for fletching. Does anyone know where I might be able to find these? Are they sold by GoD vendors, are they foraged? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
All GoD tradeskill items are rare, random drops from any GoD mob. The lower level zones drop the "lower" level items. I buy the stones from vendors for just over 3pp each. All of the lower level items cost 3pp from a vendor(when sold by a player to them), you just have to find the right vendors.
ok I know where and what drops taelosian tea leaves , but I want Taelosian mountain tealeaves, makes even better tea but i have no clue as to where these drop. anyone else made the discovery yet ?
A post by Tuluvar states: Got some of these in Ikkinz trials. Droprate uncommon/rare. I'd say KT+ zones
A post by Thuleman states: Dropped in KT, water camp, drop rate was 3 leafs in a couple hours.
& Alla lists that Taelosian Mountain Tea Leaves are Found in: Ikkinz - Antechamber of Destruction Kod'Taz - Broken Trial Grounds
These being keyed zones, all in all, not easy tea leaves to get. :( Someone paid 150pp each for these in baz on Karana server. Hey, at least they're not No Drop, right? /sigh
I took my 250 skill Brewer with trophie to Abys to do the brewing quest to find out how to make the tea with these leaves. When I got to the end of the tradeskill part she didn't give me anything that actually showed me how to make this tea. Did I miss a step or what?
she did the same for me but if u finished all 4 steps you your self can do the conversion now. just stick 1 leave into brew barrel combine and whala taelosian tea, as well the more you do this the higher the yield will be , i think it tops out at 3 tea per leave but what i really really wanna know is where does the taelosian MOUNTAIN tea leaves drop.
