dolls

Why does SOE continue to give us items that look like dolls to carry around? Great stats but my very evil lil Necro looks like a fairy always running around playing with dolls.

Because, its the same reason sony makes your mob pop the second you leave camp. same reason Sony makes it so that they take the maximum tiem when your in a hurry :) To drive people NUTZ

Think of it as a voodoo doll that you use to intesify the dots you cast

Decent little item...A crit on horror with a BA4 item can go around 1100+, which ain't bad.

Again, why Wizards?

This is a nice item for the stats alone, but as a Wizard, the effect does nothing for me. I would feel bad rolling on this on against someone that could actually use the effect.
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 24 2004 at 8:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) if you "roll" on this, and your a wizard, and there are necros around who COULD,and WOULD use this... thats very bad.... just casue it says Wizards on it. doesn't mean its best for wizards. don't think so selfishly.

Well, in answer to the question, its pretty nice even without the effect. I was on a raid last night, with 38 people, but ZERO mages, and ZERO necros. Say this same group got this drop, and neither of the two enchanters on the raid wanted it. Wouldn't it still be a nice item for a wizard?

yes it is still a nice item for Wizards. But being how rare the focus is (it's getting better but still way more rare than ID4) Necro's should get prefferance on it.

Question though, why would mages want this? Necro's and Enc's get dots.

Umm, read the post. I said the raid I was on had no necros and no mages. I'd imagine if a mage wanted this, it would be for the same reasons that a wizard wanted it. Cause its nice, even without the effect. My point is, Necros aren't the most common class on most raids. More of then than not, all we have for INT casters are Ench and wizards.

Not saying its not nicer for a necro, but the people saying that it HAS to go to a necro, have ot face the fact that it is all too possible to have an entire raid, and no necro.

Damn near every mob in these GoD zones seems to proc SOME kind of effect. Maybe the kid procs a dot?
I'd love to see burning affliction 4 coupled with the new dot crit AA's on Bane. That'd be some serious damage from one 30 sec dot. ;)
Scary

I don't know, but whomever they are, I wish I were their kid. I would love that toy, until my dying day.
