Since the pure INT casters can use this, I would guess it is a piercing weapon.

Who's it for?
Certainly none of the listed classes will be interested at level 45.
The only answer is, smiths working for GM skill.
...Over-aggressive recommended levels are annoying. This would be decent if the rec.level wasn't so high.

only if they are uber twinks....
A 14/24 piercer? damn few 14/24 piercers around that don't have rec levels a lot higher than 45. Lot of rogues that level would love to have a backstab weapon that good. real question is, just how many rogues that worship Cazic are around?
