Seeing as how this thing was stated as level 40 (which I don't doubt) I decided to take my level 45 wizard into LFay and look for this elusive unicorn.

Found her, can't say much other than three consecutive HT's later I got a "LOADING...Please wait"

She's a tough ******. I'm relogging onto my 62 BL right now and go have vengeance. Stupid horse.
Not too bad...

Harm touch is weak 400 or so, then hits quite weak, newbie slayer for sure, but no prob for most class over 44, can be feared and snared, not sure about panic animal. Dropped unicorn horn.

I was just strolling through Lfay the other day and i happened upon the corrupted with my 44 bard i palyed selo's and ran in circles while twisting chant of disease and fire. I noticed she was a caster since she used or had one of the rune type of buffs on her when i meleed her, however, she didnt even make an attempt to cast although i was probably in range the whole time and i would imagin she used HT on some poor newbie runnin through the zone jsut so happened that i was lucky enough to loot horn i took more damage from fallin off a hill than i did from her.

Got a unicorn horn off a unicorn in WL a few weeks ago, been meaning to check up on it here, but didn't get to it until now. I don't remember it being like this one. From what I recall, it looked just like an ordinary horn with no stats and no effects. Will check it again though.

This critter is not quite as magic resistant as he/she once was, though the HT is definately still nasty. It has strong melee attacks, has about 2k-3K hp, and moves at SoW speed.

It's usual drop is Unicorn Horn Fragments, which are useless except for the few charges of Purge. The Unicorn Horn (not the fragments) is the rare drop.

This beastie roams the Lesser Faydark zone, so if you plan on going after it, I recommend using Invis with SoW, or Wolf Form. Otherwise, you will have a run-in with the nasty little brownies that always seem to appear right at the worst times.

Another note too, Equestrielle has a bad habit of flanking you if you get within its aggro range (and it's a HUGE aggro range), rather than running straight at you. It somehow manages to do this even when you are tracking it, so you may end up receiving a nasty HT before you can even target the thing.

Met the corrupted today, or actually she met me, casted a spell on me, pet aggroed. First time decided to give it a try. Was killing gnome casters and had only nukes, taps and darkness up. Dooming, ignite, torbas, ignite, torbas, ignite took her down when pet was at 10 % health, had not a single resist and resisted 2 spells she casted on me. With 226 int and some +mana not really a mana shortage. My young bard cousin will love the horn.

I've nailed Equestrielle the Corrupted twice whilst passing through Lesser Fay and looted this Horn both times. Didn't know it was of value to Bards so will go looking for another next time I'm in the area...

I was riding through the mist of the lesser Faydark and slew this creature mistaking it for the pitiful Corrupted Eqestrielle. It was definitely more difficult to slay than than the evil countepart. I found a unicorn horn upon the body. Not being particularly inclined towards music, I took the horn and persuaded the glowing white Pained Unicorn to accept the horn...which she did and promptly galloped away. She did pause however for a nifty screen shot.

Equestrielle the Corrupted dropped it.
Black horse, light blue to 57.. hard to fear/snare even with occlusion and epic. Easy to mez with twilight to heal some though.

This horn is a wind instrument, not brass (although if does look like a horn when weilded) and also acts as a major lightsource (similar to that of a greater lightstone, nice fer human bards).

Purge = remove poison?

In Mythology, A Unicorn's Horn was a sovereign remedy against poison ... and Purge has the sound of something that clears out toxins. Of course, the real answer is to get someone to parse the speff.dat file :-)

She spawns in lesser faydark seen her there a fair few times wizard in party decided to kill her once we scrapped her 3 of around late 30's if i remember right everyone died but me looted it had shattered horn fragments which had effect of purge 1 charge only so horn must be uncommon or rare methinks
