Aataltal is the hero of the book, a high elf enchanter. IT was a great read, and I highly recommend it for fans of everquest (i found mine at a thrift store).

This journal correlates with the new lore that is being written in the Everquest books. Aataltaal is the featured character from the book 'Ocean of Tears'. For people who are into EQ lore this is a fun little piece.

bought one for 100p in bazaar today, there were 4 others for 450 999 1000 and 5000, i donated it for guild tribute since its almost worth 3k there...100p for 3000 tribute isn't that bad =-)

I wasn't careful enough on my way in to camp seahorses for my druid epic and Estrella saw through invis. I took her out and she dropped this item. I nearly sold it to an NPC but came here first to get the story on the Journal. None were for sale in Bazaar so I was able to quickly sell mine for a nice price. I think I'll make the long run back and get another...

The stats on this item aren't that good but until I turn it in for the robe, I am going to carry it for the rt click Cripple. I normally keep this in a gem at all times and it will save a spot (and the mana) by using it as a swap out item.

Careful, only one charge. Might be worth casting it once, but I don't know if i'd carry it around for one single free cast....
Worth 28k for the Phylactery quest? I'm definitely not going to depress the other four people in my group last week who didn't roll on this "vendor loot" by telling them that :).

same thing happened to me when i looted this awhile ago when me and few guildies were messing around in kedge, was surprised when i went to price it at a few hundred pp in bazaar when i saw the cheapest being sold was 14k. Not sure how rare this is but im glad i was the one who lucked out on it :P
