Anyone know why I never see my pet proc with these? I have all of my filters set to let everything show, but still nothing? I am a lvl 34 Mage so my pet should be well over lvl 10 by now :)

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to see your pet's spell damage. I wish there was.

What you should be seeing, though, is a message that says "Mob_01 is consumed in a wrath of fire" or something along those lines. That means it's working fine.
Weight polearm

i have found that if you give a warder or any other pet the weight pole arm they hit for 58 to 68 every his but seems if they get below 50% health they will not move
Good weapon for pet, but...

Great pet weapon, but only if they have fixed the h2h modifier for pets. Any info on this?

Based on numerous parses at EQBeastlord.com it's been noted that the type of weapon (given that it is 1h, I don't know if a pet will even use 2h) no longer affects pet performance for beastlord warders. I do not have the same information for other classes but it's safe to assume you can give your pets whichever weapon you want and it will work just fine. Although personally I'd go with the blades since they look so cool ;)

i handed my lvl 9 bst pet a crude bone halberd and he hit for 20ish, which is higher than before.. i think at lower lvls bst pets r warriors, whereas at higher lvls they arent

For lower level pets, any class' pets, its better to give the pet a 2 hand weapon that raises the pet's max hit than it is to give a 1 hander.

Once the pet starts to dual wield, however, then its probably better to give a pair of these summoned pet weapons, hoping for a lot of procs.

beastlords pets are best with h2h weapons. this item needs no mods. all other pets can use the swords (sme thing, diff skill).

the great thing about the fist is that its proc is only lvl 10, but the swords proc is lvl 40
