I would consider putting this:

Fractured Ruby Shard of Wellness
AUGMENTATION NO DROP
Augmentation Type: 2
Weight: 0.0 Size: TINY
Slot Restrictions: EAR HEAD FACE NECK SHOULDER ARMS BACK WRIST HANDS FINGERS CHEST LEGS FEET PRIMARY RANGE SECONDARY WAIST
Fire Resist: +2 Disease Resist: +2 Cold Resist: +2 Magic Resist: +2 Poison Resist: +2
Classes: All Classes
Races: All Races

And mabey a Regen or some other effect in it as well and that would turn that in to a superior chest piece for Beastlords. But then if I didnt want the resists you could always bump up the stats as well.

I really like what they have done with the new expansion. I dont like the Level restriction, or the high price of some of the prices on the bought augments (Sorry but 15 Hp is NOT worth 220 adventure points, 100 mabey, for 220 hp you should be getting 50+ IMO) and the low level missions just dont give enough they should start out at 5 points a mission not 1. At lvl 36 I would expect to get closer to 8 or 9, not 3 or 4. But other than that it is absolutely phenominal and I am so happy with the new expansion that i am going to leave SWG and come back full time.

You need to realize that higher level adventurers get 51 points per success. if, for 220 points i could buy a +50hp aug, id be all over it andover powered really fast.

I also agree that LDoN is a great expansion, but the drops and AP's are too few and far between for the lower lvl's. Even if you chose a hard adventure at 25, you only get 2 points and only 1 drop on the 3 adventures I tried. It doesn't make it worth it for all the difficulty in finding a group and getting started. ( on Terris-Thule anyway)

I agree, i would say LDoN is one of the best, the only thing is that augmentation stone things dont drop often enough...well, atleast not at my lvl (40) anyways, later all

I think the reason the expansion only gives you 1-5 points at low levels is that, if you were to use LDoN as your primary method of gaining levels, by the time you got enough points to get good items with recommened levels of 65, you may actually be 65. If you were to get more points at lower levels, you would have enough points to buy 65th level items when you were 45, and would cause balance issues. Just gain a few levels and you'll be making 20-50 points per adventure in no time.

About this tunic, I wouldn't consider using it as a monk. The only thing it has going for me would be the AC, Sta and resists. There are better ones for sale in the bazaar for fairly cheap, like the Hardened Sludge tunic, that easily beat this tunic in melee stats.

Oh, and has anybody else noticed that the majority of the items coming out of LDoN have Charisma on them? I've been disappointed so many times when I see some great AC, good stamina, good HPs, *thinking all it needs is strength* and then seeing Charisma which has almost no use to me as a monk (or many other classes).

As for gaining levels by LDoN - pff... If you're 20ish, go to HHK or Paludal. The XP is faster since you don't have to run around getting to and from missions. The APs aren't worth it, as described above. Perhaps the win record is worth it to you to start at 20. <shrug> Who cares about the win record?

The thing about this tunic is that it's FREE!! If you are going to recommend buying something, then factor in the extra pp needed to purchase it with. Not everybody pharms plat. APs are great for that reason. You don't need to be a pharmer to get somewhat decent loot, like this tunic. I'd wear it. It's an upgrade for me at lvl 55.
The HP, resists, STA, and yes, the WIS can't be easily discounted when it's free.
Also, even if you had 3000 APs by the time you reach 45, you still wouldn't be able to do anything with buyable Adventure Merchant loot that's too high for you, since the required level of LDoN items would bite you in the rear.

Me and some friends had these results, levelling exclusively from adventures:
- 24 successes, 0 fails. (not so hard at this level to achieve a record like that, if you're twinked even a little. We're twinked quite a LOT hehe, and only needed about a third of the allotted time.)
- Didn't hang around after completing missions for extra XP clearing the dungeon. Went on to a new adventure immediately.
- Started at level 26; now level 34.
- Most adventures yielded 2 AP, then 3 lately, so I have about 55AP.

I don't think 55AP is really enough for somebody who hasn't been questing for gear from level 26 to 34. So it seems OK to adjust the AP, or the item drops, upward a little at the low end. 50AP for adventures at the high end seems fine.

The concern about game imbalance, from having massive AP and being able to afford level 65 stuff at level 45, isn't really valid. It's still level 65 stuff; you can't really use it at 45. The way I'm going, hell, when I'm 45 I won't have near enough AP to outfit myself in level 45 gear, much less 65. I'll be able to afford two or three pieces and maybe an aug or two. Good thing I'm a twink!

Overall I have mixed reviews about LDoN. Twinks rule, as always: the mission must be geared toward "average", untwinked characters or new players will have zero chance. My level 57 main (untwinked by definition of "main") has about a 30% success rate, while the twink is blasting through missions in 21 minutes whether there are 5 guys or 6 in the group. It's too hard for untwinked players as it stands, especially in the 45-60 level range. At the same time it's way too easy for twinked players 20-40. Then in the 60's evidently AA points are not factored into mission difficulty so it becomes very easy for some players while remaining too hard for others. Not sure about that assumption on AA points, but from my level-57 point of view it seems to be the case.

One big complaint is that untwinked players are less popular than ever. With missions that have time limits, they are a burden and can result in a loss. I actually got ridiculed about my gear at the end of one failed mission. Sure, that guy was just a d.i.c.k, but twinkage is more a requirement than an option for LDoN.

Thats the problem with this game. The people in it aren't happy unless they have equipment 20 levels superior to them. If you adv in LDON from the time your 20 until you reach 45 and you can't afford LEVEL Appropriate gear when your 45. then either you have BLOWN all your AP up to that point, or your groups have been extremely bad.
