by the time you could get this, you will prolly be in your mid 20's. Sure you mahe be able to use the next set of spells, but most of your spells are still under 20, and like several people already said, there will always be some spells you will use for the entire life of your character.

I just got LDoN for christmas, so i havn't gotten a chance to learn much yet. Can an aug be removed from 1 item and added to another item? I'm guessing not. If this is the case, then chancer are, whatever your using at Lv 20ish will probably be replaced with a better piece of equiptment so you would lose the aug benifit.

I think this could be a nice way to get a little step up for 20-30ish casters for such a small cost of only 20ap.

By now you probably know it but i'll answer anyway. Yes you can remove an augment from an item once its in it. Doing so will destroy the augement tho. The way to do this is to buy solvent to any of the magus in Ldon camp.

i cant believe u guyz have so much to say and complain about a lil ole aug that does have its benefits.. but also will waste a slot on an item that could be used for an aug that has the next higher spell haste on it.. and i cant believe i just added a post to this forum..

I would like to point out something quite useful here. 15% will work on GATE, Inviso, Lesser Evac etc... Ok lets say your lv 65. I am willing to bet you have at least one lv 20 or lower spell that is used often. My 62 cleric always has the following up DIVINE AURA(1st), GATE(5th), ROOT(9th) and when I was lv 60 and lower I always had STUN(5th) up. Now lets recap. That is 4 spells for a lv 60 Cleric that can use this aug. Check your Class and be honest. Just because you cannot use your lv 24 nuke doesnt mean the spell haste is useless. Oh one last thing I do not play on a blue server. Gate and Divine Aura have saved me from countless x.p. and PK death. If I was to play on a blue server(please shoot me)I would still keep them up. The lv 5 Stun is a no brainer for a Veteran cleric.

So buck up folks. Aug has value.

Also, could be very handy for a necromancer's Feign Death spell (lvl 16 spell, 1.5 second cast time).

I plan on getting one for my necromancer, just for this reason.

Note: VI has such a Hard on for Complete Heal. Look at line 3 of the restrictions. Complete Heal excluded. Note: in line 2. Max Level (20) Last time I checked CH is a 39th lv Cleric spell. Advice for the designers. RELAX your 2. Max Level restriction covered it. This is a game not the Space Shuttle. Ooops sorry bad analogy. N.A.S.A doesnt believe in safety back up's.

Chance's are, by the time you have the 20ap toget this at 20ish level, you'll want to spend it on something else. By the mid to high 20s this is useless to most caster as they will opt to use thier new spells.

The max level of 20 refers to the level of the spell, not the level of the character. It makes those low-level nukes and whatnot cast a little bit more quickly.

I agree with the administraitor and would like to add you are all noobs if you really think it is useless after lv 20.
GATE, INVSO , DIVINE AURA , STUN , HARMSHIELD, GATHER SHADOWS, Levitate, Color flux , Color Shift, Lesser Evac, Shock of lightning, Snare,Enthrall, whirling wind, harmony, sow, lesser succor, superior camo, shield of barbs,all under 20 folks yes still used by those over 20. Did this blindfolded b.t.w :) Now I am sure you can find some spell under 20 that you use at higher levels.

Minimum level of 20 to even zone into LDoN is what he is referring to...He is completely right. Makes no sense whatsoever!!!
