I have a 65 Ogre Warrior that is Agnostic. For the first 3 years of EQ existence, Verant claimed that diety would have no impact in the game except for faction. Now they made this diety specific armor but don't offer a quest of some sort to chose a diety. Just goes to show you these guys don't think.

is there a way to make this or something like it not imbued so it can be worn by an agnostic character?
There is no version of this that does not require a deity because Trolls and Ogres can not be agnostic. It just means you have to find the right one for your deity.
I have a 53 agnostic ogre war so they can in fact be agnostic - at least on quellious
There are non-imbued versions of all the diety specific armor. Go to EqTraders.com for the recipes. For an example, here's an Allakhazam link to the one of the non-imbued Erudite items:

I think Verant decided that the diety thing was a joke and that they didnt want everyone agnostic, sux if you already made your character though.
No there isn't but there are several differnt versions for differnt dietys (No Agnostic one sorry)
