Anybody know what named in the hard drops this and if they drop it every time? That seems to be the case on normal but haven't done enough hard to confirm.

I saw some in the bazaar today on Sol. Ro for 60k, and I checked the augment type: Slot 4.
I bet this changed as of the latest patch, but yes, now you CAN add a spell proc to this.

Before the patch that changed LDoN *dropped* weapons, they had type 1 slots. Weapons in PoTime have type 8 slots.
Obsessoin granted, shoveled out a pile of plat, and now i have goldeny goodness

awesome weapon, ive had it in my main hand for a little while now. the level recomend is the worst thing about it actually. with a 65 rec, even while i was at level 62 and 63 the DMG was only 16 (not 17) so i had to muscle out some levels to get the real potential of this weapon. anyway it does some incredible damage, in that i punch over 100s-110s quite often on non-crits.
the graphic is really sweet too, its one of the particle fists effects but its gold, not pink/purple like the battles fists and hand of honor : P
just be ready tho, if you get this all sorts of people are gonna come up and inspect you.
i also agree with jorlan, i think this is the best droppable monk weapon yet.
does anyone know if this weapon + an almost equal weapon like a WLK will out damage a SoFW or a GSo4Ws, im looking for some parsed data please. (UPDATE!) I actually won a GSo4Ws since I posted this, and it does outdamage this weapon with a WLK. However if I get Battle Fists or a Hand of Honor or something, I may try and get another one of these. still one of my favorite weapons ive ever use, its so cool lookin!

Just thought I would finally let people know, recommended levels doesn't affect damage AT ALL. Make a level 1 newb and give him a high level recommended weapon, watch him hit for max damage everytime without fail. The only thing holding you back is the damage caps placed on the levels. If you don't believe me, go test it yourself. Works for every class I've tried it with so far. It will say 1 damage on the weapon, but I've never known a 1 damage weapon to hit for 25 EVERY TIME.

Thats not more like that, with one of that last patches this was changed so damage is calculated on shown damage and not maximum damage. Twinkies nerf!

Best tradeable single-handed weapon available to monks in terms of ratio / damage, as far as I can recall, so far.
Some that come close ratio-wise, are entwood (14/20), Waning light katar (16/22) and Spiked knuckled of brawling (17/23). This baby smokes them all, albeit quite a hefty level recommended =/
