I'm using the EXACT recipe listed on EQTC and it doesn't work.
I've tried swapping out frost temper for water, swapping mold sizes, everything I can think of, but nothing works. Anyone know the real recipe?

Are you using the cultural forge in Halas?

I have followed 2 recipes for these items from EQTraders and each time have the "cannot combine these items" message. Don't go there for the recipe. Just pray you can find it somewhere.
I don't know what you are missing, but the Recipe on EQ Traders works just fine... remember you must be using the Northman Forge in Halas to make this combine.

I don't know about anyone else but the guy at Fire prides will not sell to my barbarian. So, I made a Charisma based human bard in qeynos and bought several molds for only a few silver each. Hope that helps when you're trying to find the molds.
I travelled all the way to High Hold Keep to buy some medium quality ore(25pp each, I bought 5) to make folded sheets, took me 2 hours round trip. get to the forge in Halas ( skill is 125 ) i make the sheets in the standard forge as instructed in a guide from your good selves, proceed to try and make an imbued Kite shield, place 1 x Med Quality folded sheet, Kite Shield mold, water, Smithy hammer, and imubed ivory (I am tribunal ) In the Northman forge to have the message 'these items cannot be combined in this forge' WHAT!! WHY??

Two reasons:
1. It takes frost temper instead of water.
2. You need to use a medium sized kite shield mold (I am just guessing that you are using the large kite shield mold sold in Halas)
So you need to start getting components for frost temper, and locate a master brewer.
