Barbarian Warrior here, I can use improved night vision. I augmented some Crimson Cabals spaulders with this. I don't notice any improved vision. I tried to click it on but didn;t see any cast. What's going on???

This is a worn effect, not a click effect, so it will never be possible to click on it to cause the effect. It should be constantly active while you are wearing the item it is aug'd onto. The effect will probably only be visible at night, so all I could say is take it on and off a couple times at night and see if there is a change, otherwise petition.

Serpent sight is nearly useless, unless your computer room is in complete darkness. Before wasting your AP ask a shm, ench, or bst to cast it on you or ask a mage for a summoned heatstone so you can see for yourself.
