Where do you now get stone for Dark Elf

Apparently they changed something during a patch or I just missed it. Was trying to get a stone for my alt, a dark elf wiz. Went to Neriak NPC and it said go somewhere closer to home. Tried East Freeport, Rathe and Karana NPC's with no luck. Any suggestions?

Depending on your class, you may need to visit a different Neriak zone (one of Neriak 3rd Gate, Neriak Foreign Quarter, or Neriak Commons) and visit a particular NPC. If/when you find the NPC, please let us know the zone and the NPC's /loc.

there is a DoN charm you can buy that has 2 augment slots, put slipgear's and adventure stone in and you have +20 ac, +20 all stats, +200hp/mana/endurance, and +20 all saves, plus what the charm gives you depending on class. each class is able to get a different charm. For example, warrior, shadowknight, paladin and bard can get the dark reign war forged pin or the defender's battletested pin for +35 ac, +35 all stat's, +35 all saves, +220hp/mana/end when in a raid and +20-25 ac, +20-25 all stats, +20-25 all saves, and +200-250 hp/mana/endurance when in a group. I hope this helps you all.

Actually, since the Adventurer's Stone has 50 more hp/mana/end, while the Slipgear's Gem has 5 more to all stats the combination of the two of them would equal +20 AC, +25 to all stats, +150 hp/mana/end and +20 to all saves.

# Nov 22 2005 at 1:05 AM Rating: Decent
Stats are much too comparable to a Slipgear's Gem and the gem is ridiculously easier to get to it's full potential.

Boo SOE for once again making people that do not immediately pillage every new zone in new expansions feel like they're falling behind.
RE: I hate SOE.
# Jan 11 2006 at 4:13 AM Rating: Decent
You are comparing a Slipgear's Gem (charm) to the Adventurer's Stone (aug). At least that's how I read it. That doesn't make any sense. Yeah the Intricate Figure is much harder to get if that is what you are getting at. Still you need an aug to put on either one.
RE: I hate SOE.

So far I have seen a lot of people complaining about the time it takes to get the stats. I'm guilty of wishing the process would speed up, myself. However, we ALL need to remember one thing: The name of the game is EverQuest. They aren't going to put something like this that takes an entire expansion in the game and make it quick. That would be insane on their part, and not fair to us. Think about it. Would you pay $29 for an expansion (when it first comes out) just so they could give you an aug with these stats? You get xp, aa xp, leadership xp. Also you get a sweet aug that builds as you win. So why not just enjoy the adventures and put the xp to good use? It's a game, enjoy it. Keep up the adventures and you will have your aug at full stats.
just a question

probably stupid question but, if you put the adventurer stone inside a charm before your adventurer stone is fully powerd, can you continue to quest and power it?

Not stupid at all philster.

The answer is yes, you absolutely may put the AS in a charm before the AS has any stats and continue to quest to power it up.

At all the Wayfarers camps is a small basin of water, right click the water and a augment UI pops up. Drop aug (in your case Kronorr the AS) and item to be augged (in you case Kronorr a Charm)into each slot and press "augment."

Lots of Confusion
# May 21 2004 at 11:19 AM Rating: Default
38 posts
Time to clear up the confusion.

1) EVERY 10 wins in ONE camp(with at least 2 wins in 2 additional camps) will power up your stone +2 HP and +2 MANA. (You must HAIL the camp leader once for every 2 wins until they tell you to fins someone else...then you HAIL that NPC every 2 wins).
2) The Augemnt is RECOMMENDED 65...therefore you will only see +1/+1 if you are under 65.
3) The level RANGE..for any LDoN at ANY level is 7. If you are having a problem making that work,
you should have each person camp and relog and reform group. If that fails, /petition.
4) EVERY 5 times you power up the stone with 10 single camp wins(EXAMPLE: 20 wins in BB, 10 wins in N RO, 10 wins in EF, and 10 wins in SRO...OR 50 wins in BB.) You then get +1 to all stats and +1 to all save. This is in addition to the HP and MANA....so at 50 wins (in groups of 10) and the Hails completed, at 65, the stone would be +1 to all stats and saves and +10 HP and +10 MANA.
5) You do NOT need the stone to zone into LDoN, only to use the Magus.
6) By the above math (and it is verified), you need 100 WINS per scenario (points do not affect the stone) to MAX the stone at +10 to all stats/saves and +100 HP/MANA.

Hope this clears up the confusion.....

This is not true.. I did 3 LDONs last night with a group consisting of a level 67, 65 and 57. So at that level the range is at least 10 levels.

You do not need 100 wins per scenario to get the above stats. People I know, and have seen the stats, claim its approx ~80 in each camp. The numbers vary. The adventurer's stone isn't even what gives you the 10all 100hme stats, it's a different item that you get once you finish every camp.
Theory
# May 18 2004 at 2:26 PM Rating: Decent
From all the information I've read here,it sounds to me we need to have 50+ points from every LDoN Wayfarer's Camp for the charm to max out,as well as be level 65. Just a theory....anyone dispute this?
RE: Theory
# Apr 25 2005 at 8:45 PM Rating: Decent
more than 50. i get almost 50 per adv now, and my AS stats are +1all , 13hme. Thats with 73wins in Mistmoore, 1 in rujarkian, 5 in Takish, 9 in miraguls. for the stats to max, do we really have to have 80+ wins in EACH camp?
not sure on the 65+ tho.

stats on stone
# Apr 24 2004 at 7:36 PM Rating: Decent
The stats in the picture of this item is misleading to some. No, you do not get the uber item pictured at the top of this page simply for doing this quest. You need to complete MANY sucessful LDoN adventures for your stone to get the above stats.
Adventure Stone
# Apr 15 2004 at 9:53 PM Rating: Decent
The Adventure stone is used for teleporting between camps to and from each camp's Magus. It is not required to do the actual adventure, I was surprised to find that so many people thought it was. Also, you do have to be level 20 to ldon. We tried once with 5 people level 26 and one person level 19. The Adventure Recruiter said that the level 19 person was too low to do the adventure. Don't forget that when you hail Vual Stoutest to get the stone, you can just type /say farstones
This skips all the question mess =)

the stone is not required to do an LDoN AS LONG AS the group leader has theirs when they get the mission. the rest can be without as long as they have the expansion installed and registered =)

RE: Adventure Stone
# Apr 25 2004 at 10:57 AM Rating: Decent
At lower levels the level range is only 5. Did an adventure where one person was 20 and one was 25. The 25 dinged during the adventure, and the 20 missed 21 by a few kills. We went to get next adventure but couldn't because the 20 was too low. He ran over, killed a few orcs in Oasis (doing Tak), and dinged 21. We got an adventure after he dinged. As you get higher, though, the level range spreads because there's less of a difference in level power (just a few AC/HP/Atk melee wise, though the range widens more for casters).

Greetings,

I finally hit lvl 15, got whisper, found & talked to NPC, found & talked to another NPC & got stone.

Now, what's next? Every wayfarer I Hail either tells me I need to adventure some more or they repeat the same reply over & over to my hail.

The funny thing is, how can I adventure if I don't know what I'm supposed to do?

I did find one player who thinks the adventures can't be soloed & that I have towait until level 20 in order to actually get an NPC to give me an adventure.

Does that sound right?

10 wins
# Mar 16 2004 at 10:37 PM Rating: Decent
Here's the thing folks. 10 wins will probably NOT make your stone show any stats. I think I had to have 20 just for mine to say 1 HP 1 MANA. Be patient, for every 10 wins at one camp your stone will grow in power but the stats don't show up until you put the stone on a charm. I have over 100 wins and my stone is 1 AC 1 to all stats and saves and 17 HP 17 Mana. Want more stats, do more adventures in different camps. And don't check your stone in the zone you are in when you hail the guy, usually it won't show any changes until you zone.
RE: 10 wins
# Mar 24 2004 at 10:48 AM Rating: Decent

As has been stated below, you are not getting full stats because of your level (the stone is Rec level 65). At 65, for every 10 wins, you get +1/5 all stats and saves (but it doesn't give you the stats until you reach the first whole number, which is the 5th stone upgrade if you do 10 in each camp) and +2hp/mana. So after 50 wins, it should be +1 all stats and saves and +10 hp/mana at level 65.

# Apr 01 2004 at 7:40 AM Rating: Default
For every 10 wins, you get +1 hp/mana upgrade to your stone. When you get to +10hp/mana you get +1 to all stats. Then +20 hp/mana = +2 to all stats, etc etc etc. Right now, my stone is at +37 hp/mana and +3 to all stats. I just got win #30 in South Ro last night... so I need to go hail that d0rf in WC to get another upgrade. Yay for me :)

Hope this helps.
