I was able to quest this for my level 27 Berserker...

As long as Vaxxim responds to the prompts, you should be able to get the result.

To satisfy my own curiosity i decided to try it out today on my berserker. I figured that since the grimling contraption had the same classes and had BER added to it, this one probably did too.

And to my delight the answer is Yes, this bracer is now BER added to its class.

For the warriors, it's perhaps not an ideal wrist item for every day , but the stats (and the Focus Effect, moreso) are excellent for a tank in an ST role. With the increase in attack and damage from the STR mod, and again the ATK bonus from the effect, the ST's DPS increases.

Sure, it's not an awe-inspiring item like certain Ele or PoTime drops, but I don't think it was designed to be comparable to such items.... still, the lack of a RNG tag is very perplexing.

I agree...if it had 10 AC it MIGHT be worth it at that level but I doubt it

AC means little to nothing anymore for monks and rogues. Look at the rest of the stats on this... It's better than ornate armor. Plus easier to get.

I for warriors with 5ac...but if you are a monk or rogue who takes little damage in good groups this is very nice for how easy it is to get. I bought 2 of the for 150pp (yes I was shocked but happy) and the other for 2500. Got the third to drop in droga. Got the ring to drop as all told only 2650pp for an amazing wrist item. I have killed an equal number of the four mobs that drop the quest items...have seen one fetish, one sash, and not a single sword...but have seen four of the totems drop. So either we were lucky with totems or they seem to drop more often than the rest. I use this over my shackle of Tyn in that with buffs im usually maxed on STR anyway, so this gives me better attack rating and better saves and more HP. good luck on getting this item...very nice for monks and rogues IMO.

It would be pretty awesome for any melee, actually. Great saves, STA, 70 HP, V2. While AC is important to tanks, the HP on this would probably be more desirable than extra AC.

It isn't really that hard to obtain at this level, It has decent stats, and has a Vengeance (stackable attack modifier) to boot... Some people amaze me. You guys expect planar gear from a simple lvl 55 quest? Personally, I wouldn't mind this being ranger useable.. I'd be going right down to start this quest...

The thing is... When comparing this bracer to the items that are obtained from this quest by other classes. The AC on this is rediculous, especially with the Warrior class being able to use. Make it at least another 10ac and it would be more in line.

It's not hard to obtain but the quest items are way friggin rare. We spent about 2 weeks there and only got 3 Drogan Earth Totems, 0 Sashes of the Cave Lord, 0 Swords of the Depredator, 1 Fetish of Ice Mastery, and 1 Hoodlum Symbol of Dust.

Now we're just waiting for someone to do the Vaxxim part of the quest (don't think we can) so our Rogue friend can do the quest.

I believe the monk or ranger wood benefit more from this. Though a warrior would love the hp the ac just seems to be lacking too much.
