I have seen and fought the Gyrating Green Slime in 2 locations now. First time was inside the Arena area. Second time was just outside the Arena. Seems this can spawn anywhere you commonly find goo spawns.

My problem is I keep seeing things like this and looking at my seemingly crappy SBR, and I get so frustrated! Ok, sure this ring has 2 more AC and 5 INT... that's nice. But it also has 30 less HP and mana! I just can't throw away good HP/mana grear, but I really want some INT in my ring slot!

The only upgrades I've seen that have the same mana/HP or better drop from mobs I currently have no shot at at all or sell for at least 20k :-(

Got this ring off a gyrating green slime at the...castle? We were in the room on the ground floor with the Black Reaver spawn. It's the room you must cross a bridge, and have your rogue open the locked front gate, to get to. The slime was pulled from deeper in...the tunnel with Rak'Ashiir in it, or beyond.

We were only there an hour or so, only killed one Black Reaver and a few room spawn cycles, and picked up both Mysterious Glowing Sleeves and this ring. So, at least for now, they are not so uncommon...or we were super lucky.

My advice is GO THERE NOW before they nerf the drop rate into oblivion. Lots of nice stuff has been common-dropped for a short while after introduction, then all but vanished...Maiden's Eye comes to mind.

Next patch, things might change.

Still seems to be dropping fairly commonly. I think we've killed four or five of these goos and got two or three rings from them (of course my Mage lost the rolls on all of them :)).
