Some neat lore with this item as Nortlav (well his echo) also drops a red dragon scale. So his drops match his story of being a dragon slayer.

Sword is tradable on FV lootrules servers.

I've known the odd low level Erudite SK (they are rare though) that gets an assist to acquire this item at extremely low level. It is a bit different looking, especially when you consider the era it was put in game.

Still drops in 2016.

I've had an Erudite Shadowknight since the day Paineel went live. She's still only 22 :) but today I killed Nortlav and now she has his sword... looks great, but can't use the Effect till 50 though - and at 22, it's an 8/25 1HS... okay, but nowhere near as good as her MoSS at the moment.

My main is an Ogre sk, also have an Erudite sk alt. Lvl46 atm. I had my alt camped by Hole. Log'd him on, took the jump...got rez and this sweet looking wep. And if ya need to ask...why 2 sk's. They look uber & unique...not many around. He is being geared to favor casting more than my main. And for those of you who still can't understand why...it's a game, HAVE SOME FUN Smiley: waycool

A few months ago, this quest extension (see my super long post on the item) was posted on shadowknight.org and sent in to the dev team by many people, perhaps this is that extended quest being implemented?
