i am not sure if i am fighting the right blazing elementals, can someone help me

I got this to drop after the 5th spawn of the blazing elementals. I was only able to get the Lava Ele. to spawn once out of 4 tries and he did not drop the PoFire. In my oppionin you have a better chance off of the blazing ele's then you do the Lava, just my 2 cents.

Camped Blazing elementals for 12 hours untill servers went down last night. Today bfr logged my mage got a pet out who killed elementals probably for 2-3 hours, I got up and the Power of Fire finally dropped. I don't know about luck here, either I've got horrible luck on mage's epic or this is extremely rare. I didn't touch wandering gnome as mobs were green and pretty far from blazing, I'm also 48 lvl. Anyways, there are 3 Blazing elementals spawning in Efreeti room, not 2. 2 of them are on 19-20 minutes spawn & 3rd I didn't really watch time on, but close to an hour, about every 3 spawns... The 3rd elemental is also a ph for efreeti. While trying to get my Power of Fire to drop got over 60 bloodstones, which don't always drop on elementals. You'll get approx. 7 elementals per hour in efreeti room.

The lava elemental does not drop Power of Fire every time. He is however spawned by the wandering clockwork (this is on a 20 minute spawn cycle). It is the 4-way room in the North eastern area of the zone. The room is marked as room 4 on the map @ www.eqatlas.com for those who are like myself and tend to get lost in mazes. GL

Some posts say, go to lava elemental, go to lava elemental. I did that, for 4 hours roughly, afking 18 of every 19 minutes. Always got the placeholders, so no power of fire.

I say, what the heck, run up and kill the two blazing elementals I have been ignoring this entire time . . . they both had it o.0

Ok. Camped blazing elementals for 5 hours and finally after reading post ran my other character to Lava elemental spawn point. Cleared 5 Pher's and he spawned, dropped PoF first kill.

Camped both the Lava elemental and the blazing elementals (only 2 blazings spawning) for a few hours on Saturday. I had my mage at the Lava elemental spawn, and my hubby's 'chanter at the blazing spawn. A blazing elemental dropped it on the 3rd respawn. I never did see the efreeti or his blazing ph'er, so the posts indicating that only that one can drop the PoF aren't accurate.

So after about 6 hours of camping this spawn, I come here looking at what others have posted about this camp. I have my 56 mage sitting down there half afk letting the blazing fire elementals attack me while pet kills them. As I'm looking here for a solution to get this Power of Fire to spawn faster or at a different location, I get attacked.. pet kills 2 elementals, bam.. Power of Fire drops. :)

How often does this item drop.....I've been at the blazing elementals for 4 days now and it hasn't dropped yet.

July 30th, 8:57pm. I opened the page Ponedoutof10.ytmnd.com and i was attacked by a Blazing elemental. I was almost certain it wouldnt drop. but! He dropped Essence of Fire and Power of Fire! All my hard work payed off. so don't worry, it exists for all you Mages out there! so put on your ponedoutof10.ytmnd.com and blast away those Blazing Elementals! Level 57/epic, here I come!
