IT says Primary/Secondary, so what do you think?

Seems as though most people are missing the point of this item altogether. This item is part of the quest for the Scaled Mystic Helm, +10 AC +5 WIS +5 MANA +2 SV COLD, Iksar Shaman only. Very nice helm for the mid level iksar shaman. It looks like that funny horned skull when worn.
I believe the Scaled Mystic Helm is made using Bargynn's Digger, the weapon he drops not the torch. At least that's what the quest list on this site says:

Went and got one of these last nite. Yes, it IS a lightsource, like a Lightstone. Looking to give it away now since I'm not dumping Spirit Tome or Stein for it...
Is it a lightsource? Just curious for confirmation because Verant and the obvious assumption do NOT always go hand in hand...

he spawns when the back area of the basement is cleared

I was camping Jester and my friend tells me there is a named burnai down there who drops some items (he didnt know what). I go down there and the area is NOT cleared and he is sitting there. Wasted him with my 27 warrior. Just letting you know that the basement doen not have to be cleared.

well it's name is Bargynn's Torch and it looks like a torch wherever you put it, dunno where you peeps get such funny ideas, but a torch usually looks like a torch

killed him last night,
with a mage 18 and a necro 20, way too easy, he was yellow at lv 18.
He drop both the torch and the digger.
(My pet was so happy to use the digger :P)
nice tips, you can give a NO DROP item to your pet.

bargynn is a little tough. he has a 4 hour spawn... i think. he, him self is the easy on. i nuked him over and over as pet beat on him at lvl 26. although i couldnt get to him without some help. brought a friend with me,lvl 39 at the time i think. all i needed was his pet to take some stuff. other then that he fell easy. torch is nice and looks cool when you put it in primary and have another torch in secondary. when your down in the cats of kurns tower. the buryanis is what you need to watch for. as they enjoy multiple harm touches. i had no trouble with the skeles as i just rooted them and let my pet solo one at a time as i healed it. but yes, getting to him was hard.

Hard? I was able to take him with the help of a monk. Both of us are twenty and took him 2x times. I am not sure where the 4 hr spawn comes from. He spawned for us 2 times in less then an hour.
another farmer trying to mislead people so they will give up and buy it from him.
I believe it looked like a book in the inventory when the item was first added.
