Just got this and a Sonic Wolf Molar from a Sonic Wolfling near the Grimling Forest zone

What do they drop from and where?

The Sonic Wolf brain only drops off of the Sonics that are wandering the zone not the static spawns in the caves. I've found that the best way to get the rare drops for these guests are to get the wolves to take over the moor and hunt only the ones that pop by the rivers and the Grimling Forrest enterance.
They can drop from any sonic wolf in Hollowshade Moor. I always got the best drop rates from the Wolflings near the Grimling Forest zoneline but that may just be my luck.
Since the change to HM wandering wolves are less common and that will make it far more difficult to farm unless you can actually pull from the cave safely.
