After spending this entire week in the Halls of Betrayal I've seemed to notice that 2 of the pages seem to drop of undead flavor mobs and the other 2 off of the non-undead--non-undead being constructs (golem thingys) and domesticated chokidai. If its not this way then it appears that certain pages tend to fall more often off of a certain type of mob at least. But if you farm the random spawns in the cave including the non-undeads you will eventually get all 4. Decay seems to be the hardest to find.
I havn't done the turn-in yet but am looking forward to this incredibal ring for my Pally.
FYI. My guild 'Shadows of Hate' was in Cjardok b last night. It SEEMS to be that if you turn in golem heart immedietely after killing golem, you get ring AND another golem will spawn. This happened to us twice last night. If you push golem into corner by quest guy and kill him right there, you can get 2 for the price of 1.
I took a crew to the NPC and we spawned him 4 or 5 times in a row (lots of us had page sets to turn in). Each time it worked the same, turn in 4 pages, spawns the golem, kill him and loot the heart, and turn it in to the NPC for the ring. Never got a surprise extra golem to spawn after turning in the heart. From what I could tell this quest was not bugged (unlike the rest of the chardok b quests).
I agree. Even if that worked, it would be a bug - that you probably shouldn't be exploiting.
All the pages drop, however, one is more rare. In roughtly 8 hours killing all the mobs near entrance -> double golum bridge areas, we got 3 pages each on 2 charactors, and 1 of the 4th page.
The fight is nasty, with 1 cleric, CH's landed too slow, Defensive 7k warrior got mauled before cleric could land CH. Fast heals might have worked - Thankfully we had high DPS, and a 6k hp bard. Warrior went down when mob was about 40%, the bard down at 10% and Mage pet tanked long enough to finish. All of us where 65. Not sure if he was slowable. Was a fun challenge - and one of the best rings.
