I did some of this armor to fill in some gaps for my twink, but in all honesty, you could complete this entire set at level 1.
ALL the items are buyable from the local merchants (and cheap BTW), and if you want to hunt, none of the items are particularly rare. The hardest item I found was the pristine spider silks, and I got 2 of them in about 20 spider kills.
The same goes for the Barbarian Warrior armor.
This comes from the standpoint of someone that has done some of the other newbie armor quests for other classes/races where some of the items you need drop off level 8 mobs, are no-drop items, or require you to go in to dangerous areas to hunt.
Overall, very nice armor for the work involved. Has a dark bluish-green plate look (i was hoping for red :( )

Tha's nice, considering the other Races' Newb Warrior Armors only have 12 AC. I applaud Sony for finally getting around to giving the Larger Races their Armor Quests. Now let's see the Troll, Barbarian and good Erudite Armors.
Also the Warrior Armors are very easy to get. There are no No-drop items, and all of them can be bought at the merchants in the newbie zone and in Oggok. I had my whole set in one hour's time at 3rd lvl.
P.S. They did put in the other Armors. Only so far I've noticed that the Ogre Warriors don't get a Final Favor/Task/Test to get a Weapon. We'll see. I also noticed that the Beastlord's are also getting new Newbie Armors. Cool.

Just and FYI for the most part the "good" erudite casters armors suck.. i still have not gotten feet, chest or the final reward. but for the most part the items are super low ac 1-3 with 1-2 int and 1-3 cha... no mana no hp...So unless the final is really good i think the gnomes have one of the best sets of newbie armors... jsut look at there finaly item
