I picked this up after noticing a Werewolf on tracking, I always hope to get their pelts but I ended up getting this. Werewolves are easily soloable by a lvl 30. I agree with everyone else who says that the usefulness of this item is greatly diminished by the fact that it as no ac. I'll be using my Barbed Arm Plates instead.

+1. Arms is one of the slots that you want to fill with a nice AC item. Putting something without AC on it in that slot is going to gimp your character. +3 STR and +3 AGI aren't going to be enough to compensate the loss of AC in this slot. The strongest arguments can be made for Monk, and maybe Rogue, but beyond those two, it's hard to justify for anyone else. Maybe if you're doing something crazy like making an AGI Warrior, it might work for a little while, but I think an AGI Warrior build isn't going to work in the long run because the lack of AC. STA, or HP in that slot is going to gimp you more than what the STR and AGI give back.

Only advantage to this is that it has no graphic. It's quite cool to have no visible arm armour, whilst picking up some stats. Only for those of you concerned about visuals and too poor or low to acquire a set of azure sleeves. No AC is a real pain too.

Good for what class?

This doesn't strike me as a very good melee item since it has no AC in a slot you can usually get nice AC from... ditto for hybrids. Pure casters don't really need these 2 stats.. so is it worthless? I've heard people complaining about this one, but they're forgetting one class: Monks. It weighs next to nothing and the stats are both pretty handy. I don't play any Monk alts, but wouldn't mind having one of these on if I did.
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 01 2001 at 7:10 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Monks dont need this, this is mainly a rog/caster item since its AGI/DEX related. I have a lvl 21 rog and lvl 16 rog and they love thier agi and dex, makes a bid differance between life and death! Dumb person!
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 11 2001 at 7:07 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why would I pay 100+ for this crap when I could get 2 Serpentine Bracers for less? 2 Serp bracers will give me +18 Agl!
