F2P: My Beastlord wore this belt and;

L1 10% haste
L15 10% haste
L20 10% haste
L25 10% haste
L26 ? ?
L27 31% haste

I was busy pulling and forgot to check the haste stat at L26.but I can confirm the 31% at L27..
Haste

ok there seems to be some confusion on the haste, the spell Haste which procs on some weapons items with haste (worn) on them have a specific % that will remain the same regardless what level you are... so on this item it will be 31% regardless what level and it wont change, all that means is the spell haste when it procs off a weapon will be 50% haste
RE: Haste
# Nov 16 2004 at 4:50 AM Rating: Default
I don't believe worn haste can be higher than your level...

IvU to the golems, then use invis potions all the way to the shop, IvU again against the wall by the shop doorway, then look around inside and decide what you feel comfortable with. Easy mob. Don't see what all the fuss is
the haste?
# Aug 30 2004 at 5:31 PM Rating: Decent
Ok so at lvl 49 it has 50% haste? Huhh??
Is that right?
RE: the haste?
# Sep 21 2004 at 6:52 PM Rating: Decent
That description is refering to the spell not the effect on the belt. I believe that all haste items are at their full haste from level 1 on (assuming the item itself doesn't have a level req)

This is 31% haste item regardless of level.

No, it means that any item that had 50% haste would require you to be level 49 for the effect to work.

this isnt proced haste, its worn. it will always be 31% wether you are 1 or 70. procced haste will be on a weapon.

Drope rate

This guy has droped the belt for me all but once out of 6 times. I do believe it is luck though just like if he pops it's luck. I've gone through 10 killing of placeholder with no pop and other times had him pop 2 times very close together.

If you are a 65 necro and have pet hold this camp is easy to break. Kill the first two mobs then snare and pull the first mob to the entreance and FD. When the other two walk away proceed to whoop his butt. Rinse and repeat until the room is clear.

Pet hold helps a lot here in case the two mobs that aren't snare hit you. You don't want you pet getting agro until you have a single pull.

Took a 51 Rogue, 62 Cleric, 61 Monk, 54 Bst 64 Pally, and me 61 Pally. We did invis vs undead till the golems and then I tanked and Bst slowed, the golems were actual harder than the named when we got him. After we cleared a path thru the golems the monk pulled so we could spread the spawn time. We cleared the bulding and had 5 min to wait for repop. Did the cycle 2 times and the Rotten shopkeeper spawned with no shield, went down easily and the 61 pally won the roll. Then we jumped off the top floor and ran to the exit so you don't have to fight your way back thru the golems.
How bout trying this?
# Apr 02 2004 at 1:35 PM Rating: Decent
Spent a few hours camping this yesterday. We pulled the 4 closest golems including the massive but of course the behemoth never popped ... anyways. Set up camp directly outside the shop are to pull golems then moved in toward the blacksmith. Once everything was cleared would just do that routine on a continuous cycle. Pulls were on an even pop and pace was nice and constant. Blacksmith popped once and dropped the weapon and shopkeeper once dropped shield.
65 Shaman
# Mar 23 2004 at 9:45 AM Rating: Decent
As a 65 Shaman, once this camp was broken, I was able to solo it. Took me about 2 hours and I got the soulscream belt and the kylong darkmail BP. I am not sure I would only get 2 mobs per pull, I think I would get 3, basically the whole room. If I am pulling to the safe room, and I pull the one closest to the stairs, will the wraith also coome? Or is he far enough away that only the 2 middle spawns in the room come? Then I know I can single pull the shopkeeper spawn single. I used a cleric to pacify the first room last night then held the camp for the 2 hours it took for belt to drop. So will a 65 shaman with 60 AA's be able to handle it if all 3 mobs come? I will have doggy out, and I have lvl 3 swarm pets. Almost 1200 AC and 4200 HP.
RE: 65 Shaman
# Apr 25 2004 at 10:10 PM Rating: Decent
Easily. Remember, they don't summon unless damaged. Once Dogdog is fighting one, drag the other 2 off to the side and root park them, then back off and slow. I soloed there with my 65 shaman, got a belt. :-)
Uncommon for sure

I've had the pleasure of camping this in Veksar for the past week. Spent probably 7 hours camping this room. The rotting skeleton has popped probably just 4 times in the 7 hours. So far, we've gotten 1 belt and 3 shields.

Once we break the spawn in this room, we set up camp here and pull from the Blacksmith (Wraith PH) room and from outside in the golum area.

We've been able to hold this room with 2 level 65's, but its been fun to bring some friends along so everyone can get some xp and AAs.

Even at level 65, the AA xp is pretty good. I managed to get betwen 50-75% AA xp in 2-3 hours here with a full group.

The belt is worth it when it drops. It may only have a 25-40% chance of dropping so be prepared to pitch a tent. Once the room is broken, it can be timed and lots of fun. The room is very popular as the belt sells for 25-28k pp (on Kane Bayle).

Another fun thing to do if your a necro is charm one of the shopkeepers(there are 2 before the undead shopkeepers room) and just tear the club up :P, generally clearing the revenant and the PH for blacksmith was easy and fast. Not sure about you guys but using my summoned pet was kinda slow and mana intensive especially if you got an add. With the charmed pet you can kill everything super fast respawn faster more chances than slowly clearing with regular pet. A side not is they all return to position and regenerate really fast, so after clearing, FD and let it regenerate back then recharm when things begin poping... Its tons of fun and throws alittle excitement into a usually dual camp. I personally got soulscream and kylong tunic in under 2 hours doing this.
not nerfed

ok, i play on Terris Thule and me (59 monk) decently equipped (2700hp 1200ac 1200atk) and a 61 shammy with max wis can duo this camp all day long, first night camped it for 4 hours and got 2 belts so we left, second night 4 hours and 2 belts so we left, third night took a 65 shammy with us for fun and in 7 1/2 hours got 3 belts. doesnt seem like his rare drop, only got shield 2 times out of 9 spawns. we come in and its usually camped so we just camp at the bottom of stairs and log on alts and have the people camping send us tells when they leave so we can log on and the spawns are already broken up, if they arent we just sit at the first room of shop and clear to the bottom of the stairs between smith and shopkeeper camp, kill in order as they pop and only kill the 3 in shopkeeper room and we do fine, can occasionally kill smith if we have extra buffs and some extra mana, all in all have camped for roughly 16 hours and got 7 belts and 2 shields off shopkeeper, got 4 darkmail tunics off smith. its a decent camp belts are selling for 30k on TT atm. so making 30k a piece for a duo in 4 hours isnt bad at all, hope this post helps some of u out in some way.

before the nerf, soulscream went for about 15-25k.. i used to just constantly buy em for 15 and sell back for 22k easy.. well thank god i saved one cause since the drop rate nerf, these guys go for 25-35k on drinal server.

drop rate wasnt nerfed just there is so much better content out there that nobody sits there and farms them like they used to. when veksar first opened there was somone camping him basicly 24/7 just like the old frenzy camp but now its always open. XP is ok and getting there takes alot more than 2 minutes so people dont bother anymore. this makes less of them to flood the market which in turn drives the price up.

# Nov 06 2003 at 3:06 AM Rating: Decent
I solo camped this with 65 shaman for 6 hours and no spawn, though the undying blacksmith spawned once and dropped the darkmail tunic (bah). The next day i camped this for under 2 hours and the mob spawned and dropped the belt. Gave it to my alt, went back got a second one. The mob spawned twice consecutively although dropped the shield the 2nd time. I usually do this from the stairs, clearing the 2nd floor and pulling the revenant there. One of the ground floor mobs will follow as well, but you only have to double pull once every other try if you kill the revenant first.
nice

took a group of 55 and + ... mob is fairly easy to kill, camped shop for 4 hours or so and belt dropped once,,, lost it on role though

RE: haste?

haste is effective at lvl one on worn items, i think all worn effects work at any level, its the clicky ones you need to worry about

[Edit] Everyone is sayoing that haste kicks in at 30.....i didnt know that but if everyone says it they are prolly right =) happy hunting

( some jerk is going around lowering the rating on all my posts =( i was around 4.0 ) please stop doing it thank you

haste works at ANY level, but there is a haste cap per lvl... so a lvl 5 toon wearing this might only get 1/5th the haste as a lvl 45 char wearing this
i read about it here http://cloud.prohosting.com/~talone/HasteData.htm

i don't mean to jump to bad conclusions, but this hasn't been nerfed, has it? Usually i'd see at least 2 for sale at once in bazaar, sometimes as low as 18k. However, in the past few days, I havnt seen any for Sale, so the price of other haste items has gone up. Weird. Maybe just no one campin that room in Veksar, I hope that's the case.

soulscream vs rbb

Someone explain to me why the runed bolster belt 1) costs more than this if you buy it, 2) why you buy the RBB in the first place when this belt is around.

Curious

It's the fact of the Recommended level. Makes this item not too valuable for low level twinks.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 02 2003 at 3:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It's recomended level, not required. Stick it on your level one and I bet you still get that haste, who cares bout the loss of stats you'll level up to 45 fast enough anyway. Not that it makes any difference to me. I just use my chanters SLTW (possibly epic haste soon) and it's max haste until 30, I need a 14%+ cheap item to do till 50+, or if I choose to grab this 45+. I'm certain a lot of people out there have the same option as myself.
#jamestpac, Posted: Aug 04 2003 at 12:48 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Haste kicks in at level 30.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 11 2003 at 5:56 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Smiley: bahI, with those in my group, had camped this spot all day, I was on an off, but my group was on.... all day. Everytime they got people to help, those jerks would loot the damn belt and split. I hate all those people who hunt for this belt and don't put the appropriate time and effort into working to get this item. For those of you who disagree, then you do this...... Camp, leave, don't make the people who sit in a group, allow you to group with them, and they you loot the one item they are trying to get, and then leave. Thats rude, uncalled for ... and if i could ever find them in real life... would beat them stupid. Smiley: mad

i'm a 65 Paladin with 191 AA me and my 65 Shm friend we camp this area for aobut 12hrs got 1 belt drop and 4 shields gave 2 of the shields away to some people in the zone
this isn't a hard camp just outta watch out for aggor since i guess tis zone is still alittle buggy they can aggor thru the walls and floor so watch out other then that the loot here is good the exp isn't as good i would say about 1 blue AA 100% at level 65 per 4 kills partnering sometimes varies 3-4kills
hopes tis helps

55 paly/55 shamy decently equiped (1300AC paly)this camp just on the edge of our ability. double pull = death as we camp at the stairs between the two 3x rooms (for the benifit of not pulling through spawn rooms). One note is that you have a tiny chance of surviving a train to the zone from here with the drop and fence jump causing the mobs chasin you a ton of pathing issues and only picking up goblin agro on the way.(count in their summons though and your dead anyway...)
Easy
# Jun 24 2003 at 5:45 AM Rating: Decent
Well the belt is very easily obtained if u have time to wait. I always go into the first room and pull to there. Have the casters stand in the back right corner because of the pop in the center of the room. All pops are 15 minutes. When pullin the second mob 9 times out of ten u will get an add, best thing to do is mez if u have channy or split tank. We usually get a pacifier if no mezzers can be found. The drop of the belt is about as common as the named to pop. His PH is a reverant which is ranged in lvl from 50-58. He coned blue to me from lvl 54-58. Hope this helps. And good idea if u get one to give to an alt so if it drops again u can loot since it is a lore item.
RE: Easy
# Nov 19 2003 at 7:40 PM Rating: Decent
if u have a chater the best way is to pasify to start then if for some reason that dont work then mezz, always pasify first mezz can get messy
Nice Belt

We camped the area for about 9 hours and had to fight to keep the pulls. There is a safe room all the way upsairs that you can pull to, and no fear of aggro's. However this opens up the bottom of the store to wandering groups and they try to explore... It can get dicy. I will say the saferoom is above the fence right at the zone in, so peeps have pulled a freaking HUGE train through there, to Zone in a hurry.. (how they did not get summoned I do not know)Bless all Chanters! Pulling from the saferoom also gives you easy access to the rotting shopkeeper as he is on the wall down the second set of stairs.

We had the belt drop twice. I won the roll on it(rare event in is self. /rand 0 200 = 5) and promptly equiped it! The other belt went into the guild bank as were were a pure guild group at the time of the first drop.

Thank you to Pereghost and Lovely and Nan and Zerm and Jorg and Incarnate as a rule!
