OriginalLike most of the starter quests this one is mostly there to get you ready for more...rewarding quests. So dont knock it on some servers Any cloak with Any ability worth anything is being sold for stupid (buy your plat online) prices so do the quest smack the pally and move on for bigger and better stuff.

Anyone knows if this item can be recharged?
How about this:
For the spell Concussion you need to go to CoM which is covered with Undead. As a wizard I dont get invis to undead, with this little gem, now I can be. Useless in some situations, but not all.

I know I read this somewhere else in a post, but I will repeat it for those who haven't heard or might of forgotten. "The name of this game is EverQUEST...not EverLOOT."
For those of you who find this item not to your tastes, move along. Don't do the quest. If you do the quest for fun but don't want the item, give it to someone who can use the meager AC.
Everyone who has a "main", needs to remember that not everyone has a "main" who can twink their lower level toons. While I do have a "main" who gave my 15 SK a few decent items, the SK still does his own maintainance and does some quests my higher level toon cannot.
Lighten up and enjoy the game like you did when you were level 10 again. And let the non- twinks enjoy it on their own level. Soon they will have better items, like the twinks.

lol, this isn't exactly useless. Regular invis vs undead has a cast time. When you are a young darky in oasis or something and you see some ghouls heading your way in a few directions, right click this and you are INSTANTLY invis to them, then you may be a little more grateful. I don't run around with invis vs undead memed. That's a waste of a space that a good spell could go to. They aren't bad ac at that low a level and its not like its THAT hard a quest. Sir Lindeal was easy to kill.

My 10 mage recently came across Sir lindeal and after a lengthy battle I killed him.
Problem is that I am agnostic and therefore dubious to the necro guild. He won't talk to me but if I give him the note will the quest work? I would love to raise my faction with them but there doesn't seem to be a way for a 10 mage to do so.

by the time you are abotu lvl 15 to kill the mob you have to to get this item you in any of the classes that can use it already have the spell but it does save a slot for other more usefull spells but 2 charges only good to get you in past undead and then back out personaly i like to jsut mem the spell and use it when needed then meme a new spell after i do nto need it

Heh, 5pp seems like a pretty decent deal, even if it IS only 2 charges...I mean if you buy invis vs. undead potions from a shaman, they're at least 15pp a charge...so I mean, this doesn't seem THAT bad; oh, hold on...this is clr, nec, shd only? Hmm...and they get the spell, so ***** buying it in potions...

Man what ever happened to being a NEW PLAYER? Everyone got to have all the good stuff at lower lvls casue they afraid of playing the game the way Verant intended? BABIES I TELL YA

Really. I remember being a level 9 DESK and having cloth gloves, cloth shoulders, and no cloak at all... and was estatic with the couple of raw-hide pieces I had.
Days when no one had killed giants yet, nor griffins. Days when having a BIBS was the height of uberness, and something most players only dreamed of having one day. When having a Green Silk Drape was *cool*.

Thats not the problem wit it,its just that the classes that can wear it either have the spell or will get it very soon,so unless the sk doesn't get invisabilty v.s. undead at the level then I would say this item realy sucks.

Why not some cool stuff? After all, when u have the lvl to kill him u dont need the cloak anyway. Am i the only one who think that they need to give some better stuff or just quit it?
