I was just killing on the island for the fun of it, I went and agroed all of the seafurys except prolly 6 i killed those separate bc i didnt notice them until after i killed all the rest. Then I went and killed quag and once quad died tainted cyclops spawned near druid ring i think it is or maybe just ruins. Killed tainted and corrupted spawns then looted Ocean of Tears Seavines and was curious what they were for so i looked them up and i guess i can masterquest them i dunno but hope it helps.

I have cleared the entire island at least 500 times, then on someone's suggestion left Quag up on the south beach, then clear the beach until it spawns. 25 hours later, STILL no tainted. It's been /bugged a couple times, but no response. I went during the past 2 server resets, and still nothing. This is my last piece damnit.

Anyone have new information?

I am in the same boat, I bet I've killed at least 5 thousand seafuries in the past two weeks, and not one single pop on Luclin.........

I've spent about 6 hours real time waiting for tainted to pop. Finally got him this morning after server reset. He was already there, at the outer edge of one of the beaches. My advice is to wait until server goes down and then head straight for OoT when it comes back up.

I've put in about 30 hours killing in OOT and not seen the tainted. Will try the "after the reset" method today. There is something wrong with spawning the tainted right now.

This is by far one of the most infuriating camps of the entire epic. Twice the corpse rotted in front of me ><

The third time I went after him(first two times I had my roomie's paladin camping it and the second time I had a friend farming plat watch it for me - both times the corpse rotted in front of me) I finally got the seavines. A level 70 bard buddy kited the mobs on the island, and after an hour or two it spawned, and dropped the seavines. This was still the most frustrating camp ever, and I kinda lost my head when I posted on here *coughs and looks around nervously.*

It wasn't so bad since I actually got to the corpse before it decayed lol.

xaanru: Not sure I could MQ it if the paladin was on the same account as my druid :(
And my druid is pretty gimpy, even at 51 - she probably couldn't solo him even now.

Your statement is true, though - the druid epic is probably one of the - if not THE - easiest in the game, but it requires tons of patience, which I did not have during this camp lol.

My paladin roomie and I have nicknames for these so-called epic quests. We tend to either call them "snore-fests" or "takes-forever quests." Seriously, patience and time is all this quest really needs, considering the level cap is now 70 and people are more than capable of handling a lot of these mobs considering the gear that is available.

Anyway, I lost my patience during this camp, and a lot of others tend to as well.

Double post. Oops. Let me add however, that the druid epic is one of the easiest in the game.

BTW, you could have looted the vines with the pally, and MQ the turnin, if I recall correctly

Maybe it would help if you kept the druid logged in, and actually killed the cyclops with him?

Sounds to me like your problems were caused by trying to use the paladin rather than the druid for your kills.

Can anyone confirm this? I have killed hundreds of seafuries with no tainted, and around 20 Quags with no seavines. I have also not read of this dropping off of Quag anywhere else.
