Planes of PowerJust did the combine, Spiritcharmer Chainmail Gauntlets require a stackable Mushroom Spore, not an unstackable Spore Mushroom.
I found many Spore Mushroom in the Swamp, found some Mushroom Spore in the Rathe Mountains, Froglok newbie area

These two items need to be differentiated on this site. See the current screenshots for proof of difference.

This is actually the same item. According to the item history on Lucy, it was first named "a spore mushroom" in 2002, renamed to "A Spore Mushroom" in 2004, then renamed to "Spore Mushroom" in 2008. There is no more "a spore mushroom" in game.

OK, to those looking for the 'fungus spores' to give to Zok Gimar (i think...) I have some information that may help:
1. You don't actually turn in the required items, you just have them in your inventory and Hail him. And afterwards you keep the items so there really isn't a way to know what the required item was. (Crap...)
2. In my inventory I had at least 3 of each of the following:
- spore mushroom
- airborn spores
- Sarcosphyxia fungus/spore (not sure, but you'll know it when you see it...)
- blackened fungus
- spore fungus
3. If I remember correctly, all of these items dropped off of the corpse spores that collect around fallen frogloks/trolls. If not they can easilt be pulled of fungus spores or fungus trackers.
If you remember these tricks, you WILL complete the quest. Sorry I can't tell you exactly what items you need. But Hopefully this will help some. Good Luck!

Why do they do things like that. What is the difference between a Spore Mushroom, and a Mushroom Spore?
Just so you know, this is NOT the item needed for the Jin Headband quest. I believe you need the stackable "a Mushroom Spore" instead. Unstacked of course...
