There are actually 2 versions of this potions. The new player made version is stackable while the old player made version is not stackable. You can get the old version from the casino still as of 11-10-07 but they can not be combined into a 10 dose because they took out that recipe for alchemy.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you thought you heard was not what I meant.

I jumped on through the effect link and see that the Enchanter spell lasts for 36 minutes, but I'd heard that the potion lasts for 1.5 hours. Can anyone clarify this? Thank you.
Upon using this I went from Dubious to Apprehensive with an Ogre NPC, but remain KoS to the guards. Must have only a slight faction increase.
As things stand these seem to best be used for the fun aspect. (Come on how many of you don't want to see an Ogre jumping around doing Monk stuff ^_^ )

I have heard you cannot be worshipping a god if you want an Illusion to have any real affect on faction.
Not exactly. Your faction is modified by race, and deity seperately. So, it is certainly possible to use an illusion potion, and still be KOS, but its not thast the potion isn't effecting faction, its just that the deity faction modifier in that case is huge.
If you were to raise faction with that group to "threatening" rather than "scowling", the illusion potion would be enough to make you KOS, regardless of deity.
