Then the effect sucks ***, im an enchanter and i never use gasping embrace because it hardly ever stacks and it takes so damn long to kill something that I dont see the point. Very dissapointing lewt IMO.

I think unlimited uses of a lvl 49 DoT/Debuff (-30 Str, -30 Agi, 710 dmg over 2 min, 200 mana) would qualify. Don't you?

well i guess if it is not no drop and you wanted to pwr lvl a chanter solo...tehn this would be the tanking item of choice for lvls 5-40...hehe

It's incredibly dissapointing for where it's found.

a) The casting time is about 20 seconds.
b) The stats for the robe aren't good. 14Ac, and NO stats? Giving up alot to wear this robe.
c) The effect (Grasping Embrace) is slow, does very little damage considering the HPs that things have by the level you get this.
d) The Effect does not stack with the Shaman Epic Spear Effect (the Shaman spear does 1400Dmg), so casting it is actually doing LESS damage than could otherwise.
e) the Effect also does not stack with the Necro line of Heart Flutter DoTs, again causing less damage than you otherwise could.

FYI, you don't WEAR this robe, you switch it out for the dot, period. Nice to have a clickable dot, even with the long casting time, especially one with the debuff stats that GE gives.
