FBC robe is an smr pattern with BLACK backround and GREEN adornments. Adornments are also known as "decorations" This would include the dotted stripe down the center, the sash, and the sleeves of the robe. If you don't believe me turn your gamma up all the way and stand near a wall to get a close look. I'm glad we all had a look at the robe first hand before skittering off to the web to post crap anonymously.

It is NOT dark purple OR black. I own one and its a deep deep army green with "similar" patterns of the SMR. The sleeves are a lighter green and stand out more. turn your gamma up and you will see. Its also nice that I've only seen 3 others wearing this robe in the last month. It's very rare and gives you a feeling of individualism from the other casters. All too often people would mistake me for someone else with my CR on.
I love the stats on this robe. Being a weak HIE the STR comes in real handy.
Since I've not gone to the planes I cannot comment on those.
My personal favorite, for looks, is the Robe of the Invoker. I got to see one at the Wizard spires in DL.
