I had read that other mobs in the zone drop the bow too, so I went about killing everything, but paying particular attention to the mobs in Warlock Gurag's room and his PHer. In total I killed 515 trash and PHers and 2x Warlock Gurag before the bow eventually dropped... from Warlock Gurag. While it isn't conclusive that he's the only one to drop the bow, I for sure would focus solely on him and his PHers if I were ever to camp the bow again.
900pp on luclin

Got this bow for 900 plat on luclin. There was another for sale for about 1200pp so of course I got the cheaper one. All the other nice bows were over 2k which I couldn't afford, like the bow of suffering which would be great since I'm an sk. I know we pull with our spells but a bow comes in handy in case we go oom. I've never been to veskar since I'm only lvl 24 so I figure this will help me out alot.

How ironic that Smaug was slain by Bard how fired the black arrow, the last in his quiver, from his mighty bow.

I was searching for a bow upgrade for my 42 Ranger and I noticed this was priced at 400 pp???? The other 2 were priced around 1200 PP on MT server so I got this as fast as I could. A great upgrade for me and a steal of a price too :)

This bow would have to be for a bard it's absolutely useless to any other bow weilding class at lvl 45. maybe if the recommended level was 25 instead of 45.. I dunno. And yes it is recommended of 45 even tho pic dun show it. :)

got this bow tonite. it can be equiped. however, bards do not get archery and every arrow i came across was not bard usable. so its just a range slot stat item as i know of at this time. but i do get some comments when im speed song running around with a bow in my hand :).

I found arrows that are fletched by Tunare Wood Elves....that are ALL/ALL and BARD CAN equip them.

mistake? I dunno.

But I was not the first Bard to shoot a bow, unfortunately.

I hope they do not nerf it as it is a rarity now.

It's probably just a mistake. The Spectral Bow from Trak's Teeth froggies used to be bard useable as well. Expect an emercency patch to correct this =p

I too think we should be allowed to use bows - with a low archery cap. *wimper*

Honestly the utility of a bow is mainly lost on a bard. We have lots of other tools to get the pulling job done better, at least at high levels. But I do miss not being able to equip any bows, since there are quite a few really nice ones out there whose stats I'd love. I wish they'd tack us onto more bows in the future.

I actually sort of like the idea of bards being able to bow, I also think they should have gotten the chance to train Archery with a low skill cap (Lower than other melee), I can see the evident utility of this and don't think it would be unbalancing at at all.
