Of course this is a matter of personal opinion, but the waste caused by rots is a good reason to not have class specifc armor. Moktor in Umbral is a good example of how armor should be done. Multiple classes can use and benefit from Moktor.
But as i said it is all a matter of opinion.

Actually armor rotting is no longer an issue since the class specific armor can be turned in in Plane of Knowledge for exp, coin and sometimes a gem.
nah its exp and always a gem , never coin i do it all the time its great AAexp
