these drop readily from the muck diggers at the Hollowshade Moor zoneline inside Paludal caverns.
I got 3 of them in 2 sweeps of that first cave tonight (30ish minutes as a level 8).

What the Heck are the Muck covered Hearts for I can not find info on them anywhere?

They are used in a Vah Shir shaman tonic quest given by Farra Cawfeet. 2 hearts and a flask of water makes the tonic.
Just to clarify a little: making the tonic uses the Brewing skill, so place the two hearts (unstacked) and the flask of water in a brewing barrel - becomes trival around 68 I think. For my Shaman, with a skill level of 72, he failed 3 out of 4 attempts. Later, with a skill level of 109, he failed 1 out of 4.
