Due to their unresistable Phoenix Charm, the secret to killing the two phoenixes Jax and Criare is to send in your pet to tank (or solo) the phoenix while staying out of range. The pet doesn't get charmed like you or your merc would.

Been hunting for this for a couple weeks now. 0/19 on the phoenixes and counting.
has anyone EVER seen this dropped.. I have leveled in fire from 65 to 70 and have never seen one of these in baz or dropped.. and noone I know has ever seen one
it drops but will not drop from a regular XP mob, only drops off raid type encounters...
