Legacy of YkeshaI'm actually fond of this weapon for it's Save vs Magic. Bought it for my Paly to use in ToFS, while tanking on 2nd floor I was getting Tashed every pull, then charmed occasionally, used this and a couple of other decent SvM items on that one floor and the problem went away. Can't remember the price, wasn't much.

this item would be uber,for the levels needs to get it, back in the days pre Velius....But now..Centy SS (12/25) , Sarnka Skusplitter 12/26, Polished Stone Axe 13/26, Shissar Knight Sword 10/22 all go for 200-250..with this being in rathly same range but with level restriction i can't see anyoen payign more than a 100pp for it, hardly see any melee using it past 40...unless you are set to use ONLY what you get by the hunt...

Excellent bit of WWI info, thanks. 8) Oh yeah, back to this item. This item is pretty good I suppose, but the recommended level of 42 makes it a little less valuable. The light weight is very handy since it's a relatively fast weapon, and the extra wis makes it an ideal ranger item (if you actually cast a lot of spells). Just my two copper...
hey tigopard, thanks for that little tidbit of WWI info (forgot most of it from studying WWII, hehe). anyway, this is a very good weapon. i currently have this and a green jade broadsword on my ranger (lvl 37) and even though the item has less dmg, its still good for picking it up on a guild group in dulak.

wow, theyre throwing in WWI things into the game now.. hmpf for those of you who don't know. The Black Hand was a cult against the Austrian rule. A tagalong named Gavrillo Princep shot and killed the Arch Duke Ferdinand. this is what started the war.
Heh, the Black Hand wasn't terribly competent as far as assassins go either...
Gavrillo was actually the second member of the Serbian ultra-nationalist group to try to kill Franz that day. The first one hurled a bomb at the archduke. The archduke deflected it with his arm and it exploded in the nearby crowd.
The assassin then took cyanide and jumped into the river. The poison was old and just made him vomit. The retching from the poison caused him to expel most of the water from his lungs after they pulled him out, saving his life.
Ferdinand went to his engagement (some political meeting), then went to the hospital to see the people who had been injured by the bomb. As his car pulled up to the hospital Gavrillo ran up to the car and shot both he and his wife. Then took cyanide and jumped into the river, with much the same results as his compatriot.
