Got mine real quick off Horror Guard on other side of bridge. Cleared every thought horror on east side with no luck.
Crossed invisible bridge, turned south. Before you get to the spot marked VT SHARD CAMP on the Brewall map, there is a spot with two HORROR GUARDS. One of those dropped it. Wasted time clearing east side horrors just to see if they do drop the shard. Not for me. Otherwise this would have required 15 minutes. Luck of the draw, though, eh? YMMV

I believe you can hand in no destroy items to any priest of discord to get rid of them.

Just wanted to let everyone know it's true. You can get this shard to drop from the east side of the false and invis bridges. Just northeast of the bridges there are spiriters and evokers etc. Add to this list "A Thought Leech", that's what mine dropped off of. Only killed 1 Young, 2 spiriter types, and then it dropped off "A Thought Leech." I cant believe it, after 9 shards this one dropped the quickest for me haha. All the rest of my shards took much much longer to drop. You can get to this area by various methods. You'll know if yer in over yer head solo or with yer group.

Just wanted to post for those checking out shard farming that you do NOT need to go across the invis brigde in order to get yours. I just got mine from a Thought Horror Evoker on first kill on the first bunch of them on the safer side of the bridge...didnt even have to clear to the invis bridge, just went invis till i found a T intersection just prior to the Thought Horror mobs and cleared it, was like 3 shrooms.

Did this with a friend last night... Cleared the EC side of the bridge (not crossing over it) 3 times. Nothing.
Went over to the other side of the bridge - 4 drops in 30 mins.
Now one other thing to note is that the packs on the EC side of the bridge, of which there are 8 to 10 of them or so; only 3-6 per pop are the ones that carry the shard. There are a great deal of A Young Thought Leeches that appear that do NOT carry the shard.
Crossing the bridge, EVERY mob over there is a target mob. Pulling over there is easy and with little care the MAX you will pull is two at a time.
My advice, get one of the maps from mapfiend.net, follow the bridge, and take em out on the SSRA side of the bridge. They mostly con Dk blue to 68, so the XP will be somewhat better, and with a halfway decent group it will not be that tough.
Just my 2cp...I know its rough for some, but when you have a group of people that need the shard, suck it up and go across the bridge.

Has anyone gotten a shard at this camp lately? I have cleared this spot about 15 times over the last week or so with no shard drops.

That's correct. It's a much easier camp than crossing the bridge. Drop rate isn't as good, but I usually see a shard every 1 - 2 clearings.
Zone in from Echo and take two rights, like you're headed to the bridge area. At the next T, there is a group of about 8 - 10 though horrors to the right. Mobs are light and low dark blue to 65, easy kills.

65 druid(solo)went invis and tried what you said, they aggroed me real bad, and i had no chance to pop my gate. moral of the story got my but kicked bad.

Not too difficult to get here...invis up, head on over. Con has you go, some mobs see thru invis. Not too much to worry about there, these mobs seem to have a very small aggro radius. Either that or their just not aggro'ing on a level 65 Wizard here. I was able to skirt around the see invis mobs without any trouble. I was able to single pull these mobs from the circle by the bridge without any problem. Root, Snare, Nuke, Root, Nuke, Root, Nuke, DEAD.

Dropped off "a thought leech" as well. Just got mine.
I camped on the east side of the bridge just killing that circle of 5 leach guards there one by one to the north side of the ledge. Took me about 2 hours to get one to drop.

ok i got my shard solo as a 65 druid..enter the deep from echo cavern side..invis run upto bridge but do not cross..instead turn left onto ledge past the boulder on ledge..on the other side of bould is a narrow ledge with 2 spawn of leeches.run to end and kill one at a time and wait for next 2 repawn time is 15 mins. this can b done solo

Just got one off a Horror Guard. My guess is that most of the green floaties can drop one.
