I Don't know about very rare, was getting seb key for my boxed cleric tonight, and saw this dude wander by. Killed him, and looted BP. Two minutes later, I saw him again, killed him and got another BP. Didn't see him again, but probly a good thing cause I only had two chars on and its lore... so the rarity rating of very rare must mean because of the spawn cycle of Crusader Zoglic.

rofl look at the price for maelin... god damn our server is overpriced. i see savants caps for 1k, fs for 50plat, lol ikky bp for 15k?? damn i wish i got 15K for mine when i sold it... but damn do i miss it. time to go solo this mob.

This effect is now Regen +5. Great twink Item prices have been going up significantly on Ayonne Roe. Got two of these for alts 9 mos ago for 4.5k but now they sell for 11-19k. With advent of more regen items from LDON you can seriously twink a melee with regen items. Hve lvl 31 Troll Warrior with 17 pts of regen per tick, thats 170hp min. Down time is minimal between solo battles.

Ok ive had it ive been camping this guy for 5 days now. Im lvl 65 druid have had a lvl 65 ranger and bard helping track at times. the only time ive left TT was to get refresh on c3. Ive had ppl zone in and take the named when they do spawn on me. after telling them that i was doin the named cycle. But still have not seen hide nor hair of Zoglic. So im pretty disgusted at the moment. Which put the topping on the cake i was pulling forager and hunters to TT zone for a bunch of ppl looking for there Selbs keys. A named spawned and before i could get to it these ppl i was helping get there keys . Pulled the named mob killed it and then wouldnt even let me loot what it dropped. So again im pretty bummed out right now. I dont think im ever goin to see Zoglic. Well i guess it doesnt matter just wanted the BP for my alt. Good goin you guys there where in TT tonight. Havent run into ppl like that in awhile Made me wake up to the way some ppl are that play this game

Last night on a friends 58 druid, i decided to camp the forager/hunter cycle to get the BP. I was just killing the forager, as they spawn instantly, and a number of named poped... After about 2 hours some people came who wanted the Key so i said they could take any they saw, but no named. I then killed the Forager, a named poped, with hunter up. I went to named, when he was on about 30%, i checked track and Crusader was up. I dont know if he was just on the hunter cycle, or the cycle is the same. Anyhow, another BP for me!

The crusader spawned 3 times during the hour that I worked the hunter/forager cycle tonight. All 3 times he dropped the bp.

I am a lvl 43 Iksar Shaman.. i have had my chestplate since i was lvl 29. i must say that this item is the best for iksar. when combined stacked with another Regen(of any level) this can add to a HUGE amount of mana regen. with a mind buff, cann, and regen, (i have the help of a horse too :), you can keep canning and casting to your hearts desire.. you must be warned though.. i wouldnt cann below 60% hp. you will get agro if you are meleeing. just felt i had to say all that. :)

Nope, regen is good from lvl one, from my understanding...if you think about it, its of greater value to kiters and non MT type midlevels.
After level 25 or so, the increased damage because of the relatively low AC (30 ac bp's available for the same or lesser price) really begins to outstrip the value of the regen for folks taking melee damage.
A note about the hunter/forager cycle. Did it the other day, for Seb key (had done it maybe a year earlier on another toon) and all I am getting is foragers, and finally they dry up. No hunters at all, a druid, lower level than me comes up and tells me I have to kill Doom (low to mid 50's casting and possibly summoning skelly) for the hunters to start spawning.
I figure he is setting us up for slaughter. My previous experious was popping into Trak, killing both hunter and forager (to get Seb key) who were both up withing 10 minutes of each other, and bingo.
Anyway, after 20 minutes of nothing, decided to risk it and pulled Doom to the EJ zone. Level 49 ranger, 51 cleric, 52 Shammy took him down easily. (clerics being particularly hard on undead--shammy slows a big help, ranger held aggro).
Low and behold, 2 minutes later hunters are popping one after another a ways to the right of EJ zone, down the zone wall. 7 or 8 minutes later we have are second set of medallions for the Seb key.

hmmmm, wear better, higher ac breastplate with stats, then between rounds plug this baby in!!?? no matter the stats, 5hp more per tick is 5 hp more per tick. it's really not that difficult to figure a use for this thing regardless of level!!??
My thoughts extactly tvarney ... I am about to go after buying or camping for one for my level 42 Warrior so he can help save mana for the Droods, Clerics, etc. that have to heal his punch-taking arse, hehehe

Find this to be a great item to assist in recouping HP during and between fights. But it is starting ti lose its usefullness fighting mobs above lvl 30. Down time is starting to grow again. If you dont mind the down time when no heals are avil. then this is the way to go right up to about lvl 35 - 40.

Just a word to the wise. If you plan on hunting the Crusader, don't get turned around and end up in the froglok camps. Went in looking for crusader with a 43 shammy a 43 ranger and myself a 38 druid all uber buffed and well equiped. We got a little lost looking for the crusader and ended up getting mobbed by like 10 frogs near the spectral camp. So be careful.

Yep it stacks with your regen, hot item for shamen actually.

Just picked one up yesterday mainly for the Regeneration effect. I use my Ry'Gorr Battle Mail to fight in and just throw this on when I sit down to med and whoopie... my health moves as fast as my mana now. I tried fighting in it but seemed to get beat up a little more then with my Ry'Gorr Battle Mail so I just keep this in my 85% or 100% WR containers until I need it, with all the other spare stuff I like to hall around with me! With my 9/19 Lamination and my 12/24 Crystalline Short Sword pumped up with about 22%(if there listing is correct)haste from my Silver Chitin Hand Wraps I just don't want to loose my +10 strength and of course the +20 mana of the Ry'Gorr Battle Mail. Still love this Regeneration!!!

A few changes and with my new Matchless Dragonhide breast plate, Runed Bolster Belt (Haste 31%), Swiftblade of Zek and Guard Captains Mallet. I use this Brest Plate and my Belt of the Great Turtle durring breaks and get my HP's back up. Some times I will leave this Breast plate on and can maintain HP above 80% and fight one Tesch Mas Gnoll after another without stopping, except when my Mana gets low then I through on the Belt of the Great Turtle and get the HP's back up to 100% quickly.

SCHWs are 21 to 22 percent haste, definitely not 32 though.
I often wonder about the "Haste" items! Oh yeah, I just read the listings under the "Haste" effect. So each item has it's own haste % set but not listed. The listing simply give you the range "Increase Attack Speed by 2% (L1) to 50% (L49)" for the spell data. Got it! But I must say I LOVE the HASTE effect what ever the % trully is!

This is great for shamans because since we can cannibalize our hp into mana, this is like having a Flowing Thought 3 item equipped. The AC isn't bad either, getting a BP with more than 25 AC is going to cost alot more than this, and personally I like the extra hps/mana over some AC. Alot of shamans overllok this item but I bet it would sell for 3 times as much money if it did have FT3 as the effect. Other classes would like it more but its the same difference for a shaman.

just got this today for my Warrior on lanys,
its great I play on GMT time, so on my days off from work, i normally have to solo from lack of ppl online, and this has turned regen'ing my hp's from 30mins to 5-10mins, I would only keep this or solo'ing tho, I swap to my better BP once in a stable group.

Does anyone else find it strange that this item is called a chestplate yet can be worn by leather classes and looks like chainmail when worn? It's gonna take me a while, but my little level 18 ranger is going to start saving for this starting tonight. He has Ry'Gorr in his chest slot now, but I think the regen is worth more to me than the stats on the battle mail especially with my pathetic healing ability. If not, I can always carry the breastplate to wear during downtime and wear the Ry'Gorr when fighting.
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?

This item is not wearable by leather classes. Only plate and chain classes can equip this item.

On 11/03/2002 I killed set out to get this BP. Before I knew it was on the forager cycle, I was killing hunters as well. A Trakanasaurus Rex spawned, and soon died. Strangly enough, the very next spawn was a mob named Ffroaak. Ffroaak didn't drop anything, but it was interesting that two named spawned in a row. Anyways, I was then informed that the Crusader that drops this chestplate is on the Forager cycle, so I focused my efforts. After about an hour of killing the foragers at the Swamp of No Hope zone line, my partner (56 warrior) and I had the luck of seeing the Hangman spawn. He dropped the Hangman's noose, but you guessed it, another named spawned right after him, the Crusader. Both of these times tow named spawned in a row, and all three named that were said to drop something did so (Trak's tooth, hangman's noose, and ceremonial iksar chestplate). I am not certain if these mobs always drop these items, or if I just had a stroke of luck. Hopefully this information will ease the pain of the quest for this much saught out item.

Hunted the forager cycle a bit more and it turns out that "two named spawning in a row" was just a fluke. Sorry for not investigating further prior to posting.

I found that this was a great twink item for my level 16 warrior. I soloed in PC for 6 levels even with the alien fiend disease always on me. However, I would suggest that after level 25 you think about getting something with stats and better ac.

Don't lie. You cannot lose a frost blade to a group of pkers unless you handed it to them via the trade window. No primary/secondary slot items can be looted, even on rallos zek.

Hmmm, just curious why a ranger would be such a bad win for the roll on this? Being a druid and having your own regen spells, I would think either a tank or a shaman would be the best for this item. Why would a druid even roll on this? To sell, I suppose. What ever happened to rolling on items if you will USE it? :-)
I was wondering if this bp is good for a rogue. I'm level 30 an a high level droped this bp on me. I was wondering since im wearing ravenscale should i wear the ravenscale during fights . then after the fight put on the regen bp. Or just wear the regen bp all the time to save the hassle. Im not sure what to do since people keep telling me this bp sucks for levels beyong 20. any info would help me, Btw does th regen on this stack with other regeneration armor? thanks

Well thats not too difficult of a question. Without even looking at raven scale armor. Rogues need a lot of Dex and a resonable amount of Agility. As a tank if oyu get hit a lot, Stamina and AC are critical. It depends how you play. Of COURSE its a great item to have. But I have read over and over after about 35 its usefullness tapers off.
Id say Whichever has better stats, use in combat, but its hard to say without knowing how well you take damage, or for that matter if you even get hit a lot.
HOWEVER something to concider is the LDoN Augment slot this gets. You could add Dex or Agility... Stamina... etc. I dont know a lot about that though.

It Stacks with Regen spells and Aura of Battle Regen. Bard Regen too. All Aura of Battle regen stack with eachother also. So for a Shammy with Ikky BP Belt of Dwarf Slaying and Spirit Wracked Cords it should give them an extra 9 points of Regen per tick on top of their regen spell. Should make for seriously fast Mana recovery.
most spells have 3 stackable components- item, spell, and song. A few effects have even higher stacking components, but those are usually self buffs. Course mana regen gets like 5 components max (a self buff (like the 58 mage spell), enchanter buff, bard song (stackable per bard btw), necro mana dot, and BL buff)

Just picked one of these suckers up from a PC merchant for just 600 plat - don't know whether he was dumping it, didn't know the value or mistyped the price - lucky me regaurdless.
While standing up, a troll gets back 7 points per tick or 11 points per tick while sitting down. I've got a better chest peice than this for general combat, but this is very nice for healing up fast after fights (I solo alot), as well as when I have to FD or have a dot on me.

I've just got my hands on one of these for my SK. He's currently in Seb Scale, and I was wondering if other people who have regen items keep alternate kit for when they are grouped and can get a regen/chloro/regrowth off a Druid/Shammy?

I have a 36 troll sk normally in crustacean plate for more HP/str. Eventually I'll upgrade that to a barbed ringmail. I'll still swap out to my regen bp though when soloing probably.
Its just convenient. I sit and med and toss on the regen bp and am always full hp before mana. I'd probably never wear it in a group.

Why would they remove the Rubicite Breastplate, but then later put this item in the game, and that damned Fungi Tunic??
If they thought 19ac with 3hp a tick regen was too overpowering, why then, would they introduce the same item with 5hp a tick regen, and then also an item with 22ac and 15hp a tick regen??
I realize that the mob difficulty is different, but I think its to scale.

Level 55 mob drops a 15hp regen BP

Verant has removed a lot of items that at the time were amazingly powerful but now would seem pethetically sad. It's just because they try to balance the game for the time, at the time rub bp with the regen was amazing, especially cause people were wearing their "uber" bronze until the 40's now people don't even buy that bronze past 15 (and it doesn't start droppin till 20 or so) and something like the Rub BP wouldn't go for more than 2k or so.

I love the fact that we are able to post comments here sharing or asking for help from others, but sheesh the crap that is spewed here makes me so happy I have a scroll bar on my mouse.
To those who actually have any usefull information on this could. Could someone please tell me where this guy spawns? Does he move about, or stay in one location? My SK is looking for a cleric in a bag and as of yet this seems to fit the bill.

Crusader Zoglic is part of the Forager/Hunter spawn cycle. Basically, these two cycles consist of either a Forager/Hunter spawning or a named mob that may or may not drop something nice. Zoglic himself is on the forager cycle. There are a number of differant spawn points for mobs on the cycles (3 differant points I think) but as I was grouped with a tracker friend I'm afraid I don't have locs.
Basically, take a tracker along (a ranger would be best for the extra tracking range and the ability to take hits while pulling back to the party) and have him pull all the foragers and named you can.
Beware though...the Forager drops one half of the key to OS, so you may find the cycles heavily camped (your server may vary). If you're camping the cycle be sure and /ooc whenever you drop a forager.

He can be taken by a single party. We took him down last night on our way to Sebelis. Got the BP for our Shammy. He was Very happy. Group was mostly mid to low 50s. I hear he is also an SK and will harm touch, although he didn't get one off on us. Nice item.

Well, I noticed someone in this said it was not so good for Rangers. Well, I strongly disagree.
My 51 Ranger just got this. Took him along to City of Mist to solo. Downtime cut in half, if not more.
Rangers can heal themselves, but this takes mana that you need to med (more downtime). Having over 10hps regen per tick is a god-send.

okay everyone mainly what regen items are for above level 50 (when you get them) i.e. fungi this and such and such they are for wearing between battles to reduce downtime i mean im a 26 SK on VZ and i have better (netherbian chitin) but ill wear this between fight to reduce downtime and for you grouping classes it takes stress off of shamans and clerics and druids between battles
regen is great in battle and in solo my friend.. my friends 50 rogue has been wearin fungi for 25 lvls now.. it didnt have the recomend on it for awhile..
his health never seems to drop.. hes always regening while gettin hit saves cleric mana n saves him death =) he loves it.. regen items are awesome for mellee.. would love to have this for my paly

Price on servers varies greatly. Considering I play on VZ,a PVP server,the prices are higher. Ive had this for a long time now. Whenever I feel the need to sell for something else I SLAP myself. I've never been lucky enough to get a Fungi the times Ive rolled on it but ya know what ? I love the fact this gives me some serious regen when sittin. If no healer or healers are tapped severly for mana this BP is a God send. Camp Forager cycle for him to spawn. Hangman also spawns on that cycle if I remember correctly drops a nice 5 ac 17% haste head / waist hangman's noose . I like it better than FBSS cause of the ac even though its a little slower. good luck.

I may be stating the obvious but, having an extra +5 HP added to your natural regeneration makes up for having AC. You will take slightly more damage with this item than a Barbed Ringmail Tunic. (Ac30 +9str +50HP) But the regeneration will make up for that loss of life, and it will also shorten downtime.
I traded a Barbed Ringmail Tunic (I bought it for 2,500pp) and 2k for this item. I haven't had the chance to use it much since my buying/selling spree, but from my expierence already, it is a very nice item , even as a bard.

Whats better for a 28th lvl wood elf ranger? This or what im using now, a Barbed Ringmail?????and if the ikky bp is better should i trade my barbed ringmail for it?

Whoa. Not to flame either, but for a soloing ranger this is VERY nice. The slowest part of ranger soloing is downtime. True, this BP does lack AC, but you DO regen that extra amount all the time. Not saying that this will save your life, but if you CAN have both, it makes ranger soloing very nice, you can heal yourself, but mana loss is a lot of your downtime. SO hitpoints=mana, regen=less mana used which =less downtime. YES if you only group sure the extra AC is nice, YES rangers need AC. If you can do even close to both (decent AC for group/this BP for solo) then DO IT.
Is he twinked? Most likely. Is he E-Bayed? I doubt it. At level 28 with this BP or a barbed ringmail, I doubt he is. I didn't have that kind of gear at 28, but if you have a higher level friend, etc. you can get what he has pretty easily. If he is E-Bayed, then why is he worrying about TRADING one for the other? He would have a higher level character to hunt for cash etc anyway. IMHO, twinked? Yes. E-Bayed? no. Pretty nice to have either at level 28 though.

Why wouldn't a Ranger want it?? That would free up the need to save 75% of your mana just so you can cast hundreds of 90hp heals at level 39+. That means, more times to cast snare, more DD spells, etc. PLUS, it looks sweet on Rangers. Blue Chain, awesome.

Both Iksar and Troll have same Regen rates, the BP as I understand it adds 5 more to that total or 11 Hp Regen...

You my friend are incorrect. Having a 52 iksar warrior & a 51 iksar monk, I know for a FACT that iksar regen is 6 prior to 51, at 51 it is 6 standing & 12 sitting. At 60 (have a friend with a 60 iksar warrior) it is 12 standing & 18 sitting.
