Killed her yesterday. Very easy kill for my 34 Ranger. Think I got hit for a total of 10hp. Dropped this and some Raw-Hide armor. This sells on TT for about 200pp each and goes pretty quick. As for the faction hits, bards are still showing up as indifferent, which is what they were before.
Super easy to grab this up. Dropped her twice with a 45 druid. Gave one necklace to my lowly warrior and sold the other in the bazaar for 100 pp (it sold within minutes of listing).
I hope i am wrong, but Jasmine is no longer in the fishermans building... i couldnt find her anywhere, and i did check the zone line.... any info would be great
In case you haven't read the other posts here,it's obvious someone killed her and she probably has a slow respawn rate(probably a few hours). Check back everytime you're in Freeport.
wow, I love seeing people say 'obviously' when they are wrong. she respawns every four and a half minutes. she doesn't wander back to her spawnpoint, so if someone runs her to a zoneline she will still be ther.
Before I got this my LVL 25 warrior's DEX was 77, it now up to 88 and will go up to the full amount at 35. I know hit more than I used to and have more critical hits
A guildie of mine found me the following info. I'm dying to go get this thing. Thanks Darrcy!
Seawind Necklace Submit Info Classes: Any Recommended Level: 45 Quest Rating: Good
Starting NPC: Jasmine Yiur Starting Zone: East Freeport Related Zones: Crypt of Nadox
Related NPCs: Guard Bribbely A Treasure Sorter
Reward(s): Seawind Necklace
Description: This quest results in a decent necklace. You can also receive this necklace by killing the quest giver, if you are not of a friendly faction.
Optional 1) Tell Jasmine Yiur in East Freeport that you, "will help" and she will give you a Note.
Optional 2) Give the Note to Guard Bribbely in East Freeport. He will tell you of the stolen mail.
3) Kill a Treasure Sorter in the Crypt of Nadox. They are found near the entrance to Hate's Fury or wandering through the Luggald Abomination area. They will occasionally drop a Bag of Mail.
4) Give the Bag of Mail to Jasmine Yiur for your reward.
She spawns so fast that by the time you port up to the nexus/bazaar to drop off a seawind to your vendor, she'll be up again when you gate back to freeport. The same is true of logging two chars in the same spot then drop/logging back on transferring.
It sells for about 10 plat to an npc, who sells it back for the amazingly low price of 31 plat (some nice LORE storage, if you find out of the way vendors)
I made 6000 plat, at 400 plat a seawind, in the bazaar before the info on this got too widespread ;) Now I saw one there for 250 plat, where as when I was selling them they were often at 1500. The same person had one at 1500 for about a day while I sold six at 400 plat each. It pays not to be greedy.
My guess is she will be nerfed and the necklace will no longer drop on her and be quested only. Its just too easy for a moderately okay item off a lowish level mob. The thing is pretty nice for someone like a bard or ranger, while anyone might have it as a resist kit item.
So, is it safe to assume that this new Bard NPC gives one of the new LoY Quests to recieve an item, but can also just be killed to get said item?
If it is the Reward of that quest the Bard's name is Jasmine Yiur. She's in the building you have to go through to get to the docks. Naked Human Female. Thats all I have for the moment. Good luck.
Okay, here is what I can tell you. The dark elf shadowknight who gave me one has a well-known habit of slaying npc bards wherever she goes. This SAME shadowknight seemed to spend a hella lot of time in East Freeport near the docks, up until recently. When I confronted her with these facts, she shrugged and grinned an evil little grin. 'Sometimes, the random slaughter of innocents pays off,' is all she said. Also, there WAS a new bard npc in the building leading to the docks in East Freeport. I can't speak for other servers, but that bard is suspiciously missing on Tribunal now...
More info please! I am looking for dex. This would do nicely.
From it being a recommended level 35, my guess would be it is a result of one of the new LoY quests... but that is purely speculation. So give us the skinny on this Aerwyn of Tribunal!
This is most definitely dropped... however its a very heavily guarded secret by those who know. I forgot the name of the mob who drops it, but they are green to a 52. And they drop it every time.
