End game, hp is > than mana ever will be. Your mana is no good if you die in one round from trash mobs in raid zones.
Just because I only have magelo links to characters that are level 49, does not mean they are my main characters. So think before you speak.

no belive me I would scrap almost all my + mana for + HP in many situations or for + resistance vs mobs that AE for 2k getthing 100000kmana would be nothing if U cant survive.

So does anyone wanna tell us where the guy is who drops this, soloable at what lvl, class of the mob etc.? or are we just going to debate over what class "deserves" this the most?

Posted: Mar 18 2003 at 3:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Let's see, int, mana, cha, ok where is hp in your mind? Maybe its not clear to you but for a pre-POP high lv raid standard ENC, 4500hp after buffed is kinda a minimum requirement.
As I understand it in a lot of PoP raids 4k hp means about four seconds alive. By that point if you get agro as a caster you will usually be doing good if the MT can turn around before your dead. Also, as a side note. A level 65 chanter friend of mine who's wearing almost entirely Vex Thal armor has roughly 2.2k hitpoints unbuffed, for whatever good that does in putting things into perspective. Of course, that's also the reason for the chanter's big self rune spell. If you're lucky it will give you enough time to get off boggle and hopefully drop you from the number 1 hate spot.

4500 hp for an enchanter pre-PoP? no I don't think this is bare minimum for a high lvl raid. Now since I am a Mage myself, I would need to ask some of my enchanter friends what kind of hp they had when we hunted NToV or dropped Doze, but I doubt it broke the 4k mark very often.
I think Fenixa had a good point, just because some one is 61 or 65 for that matter doesn't mean they will have every slot filled with the best equipment. Also individuals have a right to prioritize their stats how they see fit.
Just my thoughts.

As an enchanter, I look for the following things in an item. Int, Mana, and Cha. Finding an item that has all 3 is usually pretty hard to get, or extremely rare. Now - If we look at this item, we have all 3 as well as some STA/HP. The AC and saves at this point are candy.
We're looking at around 105 mana with this item (assuming you're above 200int), as well as around 50 hp or so (could be wrong on the HP, cant remember the STA to HP conversion). And then adding CHA to the item? Yummy
Either way.. This item is a big benefit for any of the casters listed because of the amount of mana received from this item. Although I would love to see this item go to a chanter, I'm sure any class would love to have this. :)

your right, its not bad, this item alone would be a nice upgrade from my PoG arms, which are 6ac, 4sta, 5int, 15hp/mana 2svf. i would gain sta and 20hp, and 50 mana, along with that 15 poison resist, would be excellent for me, it would also give me another int cushion which i could use to replace other gear with mana/hp gear. just cause your high end doesnt mean you always have the best gear, heck im still using my hate robe, and i have a few caster friends who are still using their old world planer robes. this is for everyone listed, and if its an improvement, roll for it when it drops =) i know i would

This is a nice upgrade for all of us especially a 63 enc wearing her pog arms hehe
