You HAVE to have a spell research level above 100 in order to recieve the advanced research book of your class. AND you need the advanced research book in order to make the comines for the swatches.

The person you get the pattern and sewing kit from is standing outside in West Freeport, for humans. My skill level in research is 186. Unfortunately, my tailoring skill is only 42.
Skill Lvl Requirement?

The guy in Gunthak will not give you the Book for Research unless you have a skill of 100. Do you have to have your skill at a certain lvl to get the patterns?

I have tried getting this pattern several ways
one with my lvl 52 druid, a lvl 15 erudite enchanter with illusions human, elf etc and still was not able to get any patterns. So it might be the skill level of research or tailoring skill needed not sure.
Hopefully someone else has had better luck

You have to be a human to get this. Not an illusion....but a real human.

I'm not sure on the skill level required (if you actually need one) though.
