Legacy of YkeshaThink about this...the soulstone is AC5, Str+3, Int+4, Wis+4, HP+10, Mana+10, and Sv Magic +3. Compare that with the Guktan Initiate Shield. It seems that initially the soulstone is a better choice compared to the shield.
I know I'm stating the obvious, but people have been complaining about it being a secondary slot item.

Like some other EQ quests, you need the first shield to do the second shield quest. Might want to check the stats on the second shield. I agree that you do the soulstone quest first but there still might be some who are interested in that second shield.

Anyone know how this shows up when your wearing it? Does it have a froglok symbol or is it just a plain shield?

This shows up as a plain red shield with nothing special. Kind of a disappointment.
