A lot of items in this game can save your skin if all else fails. Recently a Phase Spider Blood (with a charge of instant invis) saved me on a train out - got spotted and had to run past a lot of mobs...so started running, then used the invis so that no others would add. This item is also instant casting, which means you can be running from a mob and cast it While Running.

Orb of Forgotten Memories CAN save your day. Set a bag aside full of items like this. One day you will find yourself in deep poo. You'll open this bag of mystical odour-eaters, and come out smelling of roses.

However does anyone know if the range on this is the same as the spell version? And also if it can be clicked from inventory by anyone?

I have seen this item before and confirm the screenshot. Dont know why alla has it as rogue/ranger/shaman usable when it is cler/sham/druid, but dont go hunting for it based on the text above the shot =)

I'd like to point out to anyone who's eyes bugged as wide as mine did when I read "Effect: Memory Blur/Charges: Unlimited" that Alla is incorrect. Look at the screenshot, there is only one charge.

And for those that don't know, memory blur is one of those 'unreliable' skills. Memory blur often does nothing at all. When successful, it wipes all aggro, meaning it will forget the main tank as much as the clerics or the rogues or anybody.

He said it's unreliable...which it is since it may take more than one cast for it to effect the mob you use it on. He also pointed out that it clears all agro including the tanks, so throw this right before a CH and your cleric is gonna get ate. You see he is discussing the relative weakness of an item with a single charge of mem blur plus the fact that it is not all that great of a spell to a group since it can easily get people killed when they are trying to manage agro.

Every post here except 1 relates to how this is used in a group. It's not for grouped combat. Think solo. I would love to have something like this for soloing.

It's not for grouped combat? Says who? It can be used for group or solo. Another class with this can save a life with it if your enc has his hands full. If you don't have a clue on the uses of this spell then please refrain from commenting.

My Druid didn't have anything better than this until 52 (well, actually, that's kinda sad.). But it's something that you might wanna get just to have that one charge of mem blur available...it can really be a life saver. then just sell the piece to some lower level for 100-200pp or whatever you can get on your server.

Unlimited rog/rng useable would be completely useless. When your MT has enough aggro to keep a mob off the cleric (who is in the middle of a CH btw..) do you REALLY want to clear the aggro? if you do you will end up with one pissed off cleric at her bind point...
EDIT : I suppose that would be a use, although I hardly consider PLing much of a use anymore. 1-25 in maybe an hour or two tops, and if you PL much above that you will ***** your skills

I guess no one here has ever PLed an enchanter. Mem blur is the greatest spell ever!!! 60 tank kills mob down to 5%, enchanter mem blurs, enchanter nukes and gets all of the XP.

Now just imagine having a rogue or ranger or any class for that matter that has unlimited charges of mem blur. You could PL any class with ease. This item would be far from useless if it had unlimited charges.

Memblur is not a method of aggro control. The #1 reason memblur is important is post-mezz/charming/slowing. Using this on any mob would **** off your MT and cleric royally.

Haha, beat me to it.
Also, they have it listed as Ranger and Rogue usable, but as the picture shows, it is not. Damn though, this would've been one hell of a range slot item for them if it was unlimited charges.
