Has anyone seen the two runes lately? I'm getting the same rune off of low level sharks in Erudin's Crossing as what is dropping off mid-level Lavaspinner Elites in Lavastorm. And this is not the rune that is used in making Energy Storm. Was one of the Rune of Fulgurations accidentally deleted? If not, can anyone tell me where I need to be hunting in order to find the rune to make Energy Storm, because I have taken a shaman, paladin, and shadowknight all from level 30-40 looking for this rune and have determined that it no longer exists after getting plenty of all other runes and words at this spell level. Any help is much appreciated.
This site has helped me so much, I have this to offer. The Runes "Nagafen" & "Fulguration" both dropped of Skeleton creatures (dont remember which b/c we were battling so many) in The Estate of Unrest, inside the house. As a matter of fact the server went down, rendering me helpless when I signed back on and was slaughtered. You will need a good group to get there. However, the two runes dropped within 10 minutes to my amazement! I just turned lvl 18 and have been hunting all the "Rune" locations mentioned here at the site with no luck at all. I dont know if this is the "Fulguration" that stacks or not. I still lack the other rune to make use of it. I hope this helps someone. Thanks again Allakhazam!
The rune you found was probably Rune of Fulguration (azia). This rune is used to research the level 16 spell, Identify. The Rune of Fulguration (beza) is used to research the level 39 spell, Energy Storm. There is no visible way to distinguish these two Runes, however, they do not stack (with each other), they cost different prices at Vendors and they will not combine if the wrong one is used.
Have found that these don't always stack even though they have the same name or they can only be stacked two at a time? Anyone experience the same thing with these happen to know why?
I just bought some stacks of these to raise my research skill and it didnt work, I couldent combine them with the other runes, I did some reading and it turns out there are 2 different kinds of them with the same name...
