VERY rare drop from Torgiran Mines, highly recommend going to Crypt of Nadox for a much faster farm.

Spent some time farming this today and I wasn't having any luck killing in the north east room where Kraska Mreth spawns or the center room. I went to the south east room and got it on the 1st abomination kill. I might have just gotten lucky finally, but something to consider for those farming this.

Spent about 6 hours killin in torgiran never saw a drop so i moved over to nadox to try my luck with the luggald's got it after 30 mins.

I tried to get mine from the bloodguards in Torigan and could not get it to drop. Based on my logs I killed 86 bloodguards, no pure blood on any of them.
Frustrated, I went to Nadox. 15 luggald abominations and 9 luggald initiates later, one of the abominations dropped it.
If you need this item, do yourself a favor, go to to the luggalds in Nadox. Pure blood either is a VERY rare drop from bloodguards, or it no longer drops from them at all.

DROPPED FROM LUGGALD ABOMINATION IN NADOX

Followed the directions here... zi to Crypt near the lava river, walk up the side and come out near the bridge mentioned. Headed West and came to a room/mine with a ton of luggalds (more than 8 for sure).
Two guard the entrance way, one roamer that can add. After that you can harmony/pacify to get singles or just pull doubles. Max hit was around 135.
I used Mark of the Blameless and a DS potion to kill them, straight melee hardly nuking, didn't go under 75-80m. They don't appear to summon, gate, or run.
Took about 8 kills to get the Pure Blood.

Nope. Indoor zone. Druids can't harmony here.

Go to the room in the southwest corner. There are 8 mobs in this room (if I remember correctly -- I may be off by one). I cleared this room 3 times before I got the drop.

Yep went into there myself, first mob pulled to far corner (safe single pull for lvl 70) dropped blood for me.

Have been soloing the Luggald room in Torgiran Mines for 8 hours solid...no Pure Blood so far. Madness is starting to set in.

They drop alot in Nadox

just random, I got 4 in a half hour duoing then didn't get one in 3 hours of a full group, just like any other random drop,

First of all, Grenik Neltrin is in little house near windmill on dock at loc pos 1602 neg 60 in Gulf of Gunthak..There is a brewing barrel right near her..3 items drop near each other in Crypt of Nadox, Blackened Vial off Broken Skull Initiate at loc neg 1202 pos 378..Broken Skull Clan Blood off Vehement Blackhand at loc neg 138, pos 177..Pure Blood off Luggold Initiate at loc pos 9, pos 1318 (this is a safe spot to pull too).
The Gunthak Gulf Water dropped off orge pillager near fort in Gunthak at loc neg 1860, pos 58.
Other mobs might drop these at different places but this is where I got mine.

We've gotten these for our various folks who need them from both Nadox and the Mines.

Me and my friend, him 56 SHM and me 55 SK killed about 50-60 and not one drop of pure blood, we killed in the cavern before the bridge. Any word on if this drops faster in another spot?
