camped the throne in Xorbb for about 8 hours in total last week. we got 8 hoops, 3 bracelets and lots of gems (worth maybe 200-300 pp).

nice items for an untwinked hybrid/casting char, especially the bracelet for Shaman, Necro, Druid and Ench.

Focus Stacking...

Does the focus effect stack? If so, having 2 of these would decrease mana consumption by either 19 or 20% (depending on how the stack is calculated.

No, focus effects do not stack with each other.

Having 2 Mana Preservation I items does not give you Mana Preservation II, and so on and so forth. Also, higher effects overwrite IE Mana Preservation III overwrites Mana Preservation II, and so forth. Usually, any 'named' focus (such as those on Magician summoned focus gear) will overwrite a non-named of the same type and level, so the 'Spell Haste III' (up to level 60) named effect will overwrite the actual Spell Haste III effect.

This is a nice little earring but for those who have PoP they can complete a quest for Holly Longtail and get a better ring with mana preservation 2, ac 3, hp +30 and mana +20. You can find almost all of the quest items in the bazaar and spend roughly 30-40pp for all of them. The stats alone make the quest worthwhile.

as a level 8 i grabbed one at bazaar for 40pp, it hurts my money to hear they go for 18gp... at bazaar ive seen as high as 75pp, if they are good for newbies, i would suppose they would be lower, but maybe just maybe they are good for some higher levels? who knows.

Man preservation = lots more spells per battle, less down-time, camped waiting for mana, and more fun. Get this early, it's cheap and very worth it.

For all of you low level casters, below level 8 or so, these are really cheap buys. I got one in Felwithe for 8gp. There was only one there, but it has proven usefull for some of my newly created casters. If you find one of these at a merchant in your lower levels, i suggest you buy.

Pretty nice for lower levels, I myself still use it because I hate keeping up with all the different types of jewelery; have had since I killed my first evil eye at 19.
