Did Turn in today for Broken bones. was cake with a 57 warrior 55 SK 55 Druid and 62 Cleric.
5 waves with 6 mobs each wave cept for the first wave - it had 7 cuz of Named.
Dropped a shoulder piece 5ac str 5 dex 5 sta 5 agi 5 If I remember the stats right.

These also drop off the mobs on the castle steps and when you hand them in about 8 mobs pop and kicked a lvl 50+ group pretty easy. I think it was more or less a shock to see so many mobs when only expecting 4 lol.)
These are cracked finger bones and ONLY drop on the beach.. pristine finger bones are a different item and that's what drops at the castle.. broken finger bones drop at the citizen/commoner area and can also be turned in.. However, since this is specifically about CRACKED finger bones, why mention it here? ;p
Cracked Finger Bones DO NOT only drop on the beach. I have been camping the pirate city at the end of the tunnel by Dulak zone and have looted 6 so far off of random mobs. It is very possible that they DO drop from mobs on the steps of the castle. I haven't confirmed this, but really have no reason to think they wouldn't.
I was camping the left end of the beach, near where the named spawns and i got 4 of the cracked bones, so they do indeed spawn on beach.
While hunting for pally spell item two weeks ago, managed to get at least 7 of these. All dropped near the ogre ship crewman along east wall.

this also drops off of cast out sailors, and is used in the quest with that spiritmaster (4 waves of mobs when you turn in 4 cracked/pristine finger bones, loot varies on quality of finger bones, aso does the mobs level)
